   HAPPY, HAPPY ,HAPPY Just ordered via J.E I had been searching for a new curry house since moving to derby 5 years go I was looking for tikka masala it that tasted like it does in my home city! This week it was Spice Palace's turn for us to test! SPICE PALACE, It was banging! It's taken me 5 years to find you and now you are stuck with me! Great value for money Ordered Curry set meal B + tandoori CK Tikka (tender chicken spiced beautifully and the Tikka sauce consistency was perfect ) And MEGA Munch Box What a platter cheese fries Donner Nuggets Chicken burger Cheese burger Mozzarella sticks Chicken strips Ect. All cooked beautifully! to share between 3 adults and 2 kids everyone had some of everything! There was plenty to go around large portions and second helpings very happy family here! IN MY OPINION THEBEST CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA IN DERBY

   Food is nice when it dose turn up and not freezing cold the place it self is not really a good atmosphere and the staff are rude delivery takes 2 hours to arrive and the delivery driver is also very rude so if your hungry and in a rush then be prepared to wait for 2 hours have a snack before you order from this place last time I order from here from now on !

   I went to spice palace an hour before they close. The customer service people are very welcoming and respectful. Then I ordered calzone munch box, took around 10-15 mins and it was ready. My family was really amazed by the looks and the taste of the food. Thank you so much for you service “spice-palace”

   Ordered southern fried chicken and chips and emphasized I wanted plenty of salt on the chips. When it came I asked them to verify there was plenty of salt on the chips. I was assured there was. When I got it home I found not a grain of salt. And the chicken coating was bland too. I ate it, and the chicken itself tasted OK, but was still left with a nasty taste in the mouth.

   Never ordered food from here before but seen reviews and seemed reasonable, food took over 45 minutes longer than originally told. Also then both me and my husband partner ended up with food poisoning the next day. Never been so sick and drained in my life, would never order from here again

   I ordered a chicken wrap which was alright, served with salad and chips and drink. However a couple of pointers, the server was interrupted two or three times by other people trying to serve me, and I noticed that one worker handled other food after handling raw meat (burger) from the fridge. It should also be noted that this takeaway has a food hygiene rating of 1 (Major improvement necessary) dated November 2021, which was not displayed.

   Chicken and chips. It was ok. Weird that one of the chicken pieces was a steak. Breading was soggy. At least it seemed kind of fresh. Gave me a stomach ache the next morning though. Was unpleasant to have to see many of the workers nibbling on food in the back and not using gloves. The other review about food being dropped on the floor and then served is alarming.
