   Not been for ages but in the area. Very quiet only a few people. I've been for Sunday roast before a couple of years ago. Will go again. Asked for refreshing drink large lime & soda £2. Found nice seat in garden. If want to watch football can small screens in each booth. Decided to have food ordered nachos. Liked the dips but wish more & less nachos which were a bit burned/overcooked I thought. Support pubs or will close.. sure the whole area is looking forward to new term.

   The best pub in Reading! I stayed in Reading for a week from Australia and came here every day! Staff are super friendly. Great little pub! Food is fantastic. Highly recommend! Thank you to the staff and compliments to the chef! When I come back, I will definitely come here!

   Had the pleasure of spending Mothersday at the Queens head and just wow!! The best food ever. Thank you to the chef Ben for such a cullenary experience. And then Jonathan and his staff, you guys are amazing. Friendly and on the ball at all times. I can recommend this pub to everyone. Well done guys.

   This is our local pub, it's a nice place to chill and have a few beers. The staff are good, as is the atmosphere. I have found the food to be hit and miss, it depends on what meal you order. As an example I personally find the burgers to be dry, poor in comparison with other places but their lasagna is absolutely delicious!

   I was over for a weekend and found this place very close to where I was staying. I took my daughter for dinner and we had a beautiful meal and a few drinks. It is a clean, well decorated place with a very friendly atmosphere. My daughter is vegetarian and was impressed by the menu. I would definitely recommend a visit.

   Fabulous food and friendly staff. A good selection of alcohol free cider although they had run out on our second visit. You get a discount on the food if you’re staying at the nearby Best Western.
