Food arrived quickly, was warm not hot (was a 15 min drive so acceptable) food was ok, chicken balls a little fatty, crispy chilli beef not enough flavour....chowmein taste was spot on but barely any chicken. Overall id say yes to ordering from there, but dont expect a fantastic meal, it just a passable average meal..worth the money
First time we ordered absolutely amazing house special Chow Mein , and a house special curry, came delivered still lovely fresh and hot.
I usually buy the chicken chow mein from here, and it never lets me down! The noodles are perfectly cooked, the chicken is tender and flavorful, and the veggies are fresh and crunchy. Every time I order, it’s hot, tasty, and just what I’m craving. Definitely my go to spot for chow mein!
Used for years but today the Singapore. Fried rice was so dark brown it made rhe other stuff in the rice dark brown, no flaver all I tasted was dark soy sauce, wiered as normaly it's spot on, apologies owner but won't come back now again.
This is by far the best Chinese takeaway I have ever tried, we are not local to the area (currently in hospital) and wish this was nearer to our home. Food arrived piping hot, good size portions and well priced. But most importantly the quality and taste was amazing! The satay sauce is unreal, the meat perfectly cooked, the flavouring perfect in the dishes. I’d give ten stars if I could!
Have to say I'm mystified by the 5-star reviews. Chicken was overcooked and chewy. Fried rice had a dark brown patina as if cooked in filthy wok. Pork was... not great but ok. Beef was the worst - horribly poor quality meat even by typical chinese takeaway standards: gelatinous and inedible. Even the prawn crackers were disappointing. I spent £17 and barely ate any of it. On the bright side, the service was friendly and fast so I've given them a star for that. But "top chef" they ain't.
