   Food has just got worse and worse over the years. Crispy beef tastes like actual throw up and the seaweed is dry. Not only that but the chow mein is incredibly dry

   Extremely disappointed...I moved into the same building where this restaurant is located a few days ago. Tried ordering one on our first night but were closed, despite Google saying they were open...so tried them tonight...ordered a prawn kung po and got a prawn sweet and sour......which I hate.....also ordered a crab claw which we never got. With no explanation we got samosas instead (smallest samosas ive ever seen). Real shame, being so close we could have given this place some solid buissness but are not looking to return.

   Best take away Chinese locally wouldn't go anywhere else Try the Chicken Curry fantastic meal, we've been using Modern for years never and the food is faultless. 100% Highly recommended. ps Its busy for a reason the food is great

   Never had a problem with service, always friendly and quick 10-15 minutes. Only criticism is that the chowmein needs more sauce and less beansprouts that are all bunched up in layers. Price wise OK.

   Waited 40 minutes in the takeaway for a collection that we had phoned through 40 minutes before going to collect it!!! When we got back, the food wasn't great. Undercooked rice and mediocre meal. Really disappointed, on a night we were meant to be spending with family we don't see often. Wish we'd gone elsewhere. Was more expensive than expected too. Bad pricing. Wouldn't recommend.

   Have used Modern for years and never had an issue. I always call to order and then collect and normally always told 10-15 minutes, but if they’re busy, it’s no longer than 30 minutes. Absolutely incredible flavour, never go anywhere else.

   Worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had. Bland, tasteless, poor quality food, fine if you like microwave noddles! Save your money folks. The dog seemed to enjoy it though!
