A cosy cafe close to the station, perfect for cake and tea/coffee after a walk. We were a walking group, and at the end of a 15km walk, this was a perfect ending. The cafe serves a great selection of cakes. We all had something different and everyone enjoyed their treat, however my cake felt a bit dry. It was the coffee cake. Maybe it was just me with a bad cake, but this place comes highly recommended, so I would probably give it another go.

The ownership & excellent Food & Service are still the same just a change of name from The Chocolate Cafe. We popped in for breakfast today as not been in for a while. The sausage breakfast bap was so fresh & the sausages superb. Sliced so easy to eat and put together with care. The Bacon Bap the same, husband had the delicious home made hash browns with his. Great coffee & take away a slice of cake. Come with an appetite & expect good things!!

Our hopes were high as there seemed to be good cake options. Neither cake was great. The choc cake was from frozen, the crumble was served fridge cold until we took it back to the kitchen, even then the heated version was not fresh. Dissappointing after reading others reviews.

Really disappointing as we’ve been here before the rebrand and quite like it. Told it was table service when we arrived so waited patiently at our table. Took long time to order which wasn’t ideal as we have young children. We ordered brunch and some hot drinks. Our food arrived before our coffee which wasn’t a good sign as there’s been quite a wait on food. When the hot drinks arrived there was only one not two. I questioned with the waitress where the other drink was and she went away to check- last I saw of that waitress. I caught the waitress we’d ordered from who said she’d check. She did return but only to show me the order she’d entered with one drink. I explained that I’d asked her for two and this could be a mistake on her side. She offered to print me the receipt of the order she was currently showing me which I declined. No apology offered for the mistake and the fact no one had actually gone and checked. There was no check in on food or drink in the time we were there so overall not good service at all.

The name Chocolate Cafe instantly put us in a good mood. It's close to the riverside in Henley and some outside seating what you can watch the swans and ducks. It's a lovely place for tea, a snack, a cake or some ice cream. Lovely staff who let us watch a black forest gateaux being made and a chance to taste the icing. My favourite is their lemon meringue pie.

Another lunch visit to this excellent cafe. Great cycling stop. Lovely day, so I sat at the outside table area, near the river. Service was friendly & efficient, and the food very nice.

Great tasting coffee. Wonderful selection tasty snacks and sandwiches. The service is outstanding and they even have a jug of water for cyclists to top up their bottles. Attention to detail and customer needs. Absolutely awesome.

This is the way how they are able to serve your order with no shame. Banana split and sundae overflowing with whipped cream which was all over the place and on the table the second it was served. Disgusting. We should have sent it back immediately but I was speechless for couple of minutes when I saw it. They'll never see me again. It's a shame because the location is perfect. The garden with river and bridge views is really nice.

Fantastic range of breakfasts, each constructed from top quality ingredients and beautifully cooked. Can't recommend the White and Dark Parfait (marbled mousse cake) enough, simply beyond words. £1 duck food is a hit with the kids too - What a brilliant idea.
