Yet another excellent evening at Roka the Square. Easily the best authentic Turkish / Mediterranean cuisine in the wider area around Bagshot. Highly recommended. Go and try it out! (And no, I have no financial or commercial interests in this restaurant. We are just customers. And we love this place.)
What a lovely find! We have been meaning to try this restaurant for quite a while and finally got there to celebrate my birthday. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and clearly homemade. The team were so friendly and attentive. We got to sit on the roof terrace which was great, really lovely atmosphere, just a shame it was not more busy, as it really is a great find!
Very disappointed. We used to love Roka. The menu is much smaller and less varied, with a few things out of stock/ unavailable. The majority of food seems to have come ready made (definitely avoid the calamari) and lacked flavour. Portions weren't overly large for the high price tag. The waiter did his best to keep us informed of the wait for food as there were 9 of us, but we did only order mains and were the first in the restaurant. The sparkling water wasn't chilled.
I had lunch today here and we’ve been given the lunch menu and ordered the £14.95 per main and desert. I didnt see any other option. Anyway, worse food ever, we ordered the mezze and the chicken guvaci, but very little tiny portions, not tasty. The waiter din not bring salt or pepper, did not ask if we need sauces , anything else. He took the order from a way distance, not sure why. And they added service charge too. Never again.
Seen many great reviews so booked up and we went there. The venue is spotless, service is fast and very friendly and welcoming. Cocktails were very tasty and extremely well presented. On to the main course, wow tasty and a lot of meat so very filling indeed. Quick coffee to end with as I was driving. There is a car park just over the road so less than a minute away and free from 1830. Definitely want to go back and try more very tasty and filling food
This is my second visit to this restaurant, and it gets better each time. The staff were very accommodating as we booked at the last minute after a long day in London. They got us a good table and were very friendly and charming. The food is fantastic, and we settled down to an entertaining evening. Would highly recommend a visit.
Had a lovely experience at this restaurant for lunch. Friendly attentive service, great prices (had the lunch menu). The food tasted great and they were more than willing to bring out extra sauces, made in house, at no extra cost. The decor was lovely, would definitely return and with friends.
The service is amazing and the ambience is lovely. Food was delicious as always. Can't recommend enough and certainly planning next visit pretty soon.
Easy to park in opposite council car park. Good seating in upstairs open area. Lovely staff, Great service. Special lunch time menu (at good prices) plus great wine. This is our second visit and we'll definitely return again.
