The food was excellent, as was the service. Only one issue, they forgot to put a meal through.
Food was delivered hot, fresh, and tastier than I remembered. At a time when many places are cutting back on either portion sizes or the quality of ingredients, Yummy's appears to be improving its' offering.
The food is okay, it’s the best place for a Chinese in town but I just feel like I am getting mugged. Two meals usually comes to over £30 with delivery and that’s not even including a starter or drinks. So while the food is alright, it’s not worth that in my opinion.
Never had a bad meal from here. Is slightly pricey but definitely worth it for the food. Staff are very kind and always trying to accommodate with deliveries. Had a variety of different dishes from here and always enjoy the food. Food always arrives hot and fresh. Delivery driver is lovely also. Highly recommend
Never had ordered a curry that has so little taste and the Szechuan chicken is laughable. Poor experience.
Disappointing take away tonight. We have been using Yummy for a few years but it has slowly gone downhill. Tonight was the last straw and the last time we shall be ordering from there. The shredded chilli beef actually had NO beef in it all, just batter. Deep fried, tasteless batter! The Yummy Special Hot Noodle was supposed to be “All wok tossed with our secret chilli sauce” but it had no sauce at all! Salt and pepper chips tasted like they were yesterday’s leftovers reheated. Not impressed and very disappointed after really enjoying food from here when we first discovered it.
Oh dear! I know that the cost of living crisis is hitting everyone but to put prices up by nearly 30% is ridiculous. The food seemed to be pretty bad too, we got barbecue ribs which were not barbecue sauce, tasted more like plum? Salt and pepper wings which were over cooked and far too crunchy. Chicken chow mein was tasteless and rubber chicken! Chips and curry sauce were ok. This used to be our go to Chinese meal, not anymore. Sorry but you've lost our business. Too expensive for what you get. Have a word with yourselves.
Wow and not in a good way! Went for food and was shocked at the menu prices! 3.70 for a egg fried rice (regular) and 7.90 for a chicken curry. This is Indian territory for prices! Truly shocking. Menu not even upto date they have a print out of new prices on a4 sheets on a perspex screen. Really would avoid! Food ok but definitely not worth the premium!
