Whenever I am in the area I pop in for a takeaway coffee. Lovely staff, amazing coffee and hearty breakfast rolls.

I am referring to the cafe. We arrived at just before 3pm they took ages to come over. I asked for a jacket potato the girl said hot food finishes at 3pm. Ok so I ordered a tuna sandwich Extremly dry. I asked for salad cream they don't provide it. But they provide a small portion of Coleslaw at 60pence a portion. My husband had ploughman's baguette it arrived HOT what happened to no hot food after 3pm. I found her to be rude and churlish Absolutely no customer service she kept looking at her watch I think she wanted to go home. She spoke to us extremely fast and rushed three times I had to ask her to repeat herself. I really didn't like this cafe we will not return... I felt if she treated everyone this way they will have no customers. We have not been there before and we will probably not return. I was so shocked at her attitude that I was hoping that someone else would serve us at the till. Overall not a nice experience at all I won't be back and yes I live local.

Big thank you to Carol, the lovely lady working at the Garden Centre who helped me massively. Being a complete novice with plants and trees, she was very informative and took the time to help me choose the right tree and shrubs. She advised the best ones to use when i explained i lived in a sea side village with high wind exposure. I would also say i thought their prices was very competitive and not too expensive. Definitely recommend and will most certainly be back again... Thank you!!

Ordered afternoon tea for 10 people For my wife’s 50th birthday. Price was very reasonable. Food was fresh and plenty of it. Good selection of sandwiches, tasty sausage rolls. Cakes included fresh strawberry tarts which were delicious, scones with jam and clotted cream. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and all of a very high standard. Thank you very much.

After years of driving past it we finally went in. A great selection of gifts at good prices. Staff were very friendly. Coffee shop had a good range and seemed child friendly. They also have plenty of plants but was a bit chilly for browsing so can't comment further.
