    I phoned Special Feetures on a Monday morning to ask if I could visit the shop to try on shoes later that day as we were going to be passing nearby. The very friendly assistant accommodated me and was extremely helpful during the visit even though the shoes I tried on proved to be unsuitable

    Bought an 8.5 US in sale but in spite of conversion charts stating UK equivalent 7.5 to 8, way too short a fit and had to go back. I was aware I would lose £3-4 delivery postage but not additional £4 tax! Cost me £7 to try on a pair of shoes that did not size match as described. Other funny issue was their payments did not accept MasterCard so had to joina different payment system just to pay for the shoes, installing a "shop" app on my phone. Deeply regret trying this company. ,
