   If you are purchasing from this shop please make sure you get a written explanation of the returns policy. I purchased a pair of Mens boots and was informed I could return them within 1 year if they were not damaged. I wore them for one day travelling from Newbury to Stratford upon Avon by train, resulting in blisters on both heals. I then tried to take them back to this shop where I was told that the returns policy was null and void because I had worn my boots "outside". It would appear you have to wear in all shoes by walking around the house, not wear them for 11 months before deciding to return the shoes or as I am now doing paying for a better quality product. I know Schuh probably don't care but that is one customer lost forever.

   Great experience instore and excellent assistance from Robbi today, tried to use the feedback app but the Store location tab wasn't working. Grateful that we have friendly staff in Newbury! Hope the companies recognise and appreciate young people delivering great service in their stores.

   I recently visited this store and was initially met with extremely helpful and friendly staff. They get 5stars! The reason i have given a 1-star review was because of how the manager was treating his staff. I think his name was kieran. I overheard him speaking to them in a most unprofessional and demeaning manner. I left the store disgusted with his behaviour as i could no longer stand by to see/hear it. Schu should really look into this manager, as it damages their reputation. A manager should empower his staff, not make them feel worthless and useless as i witnessed.

   Brilliant friendly staff, I took my daughter on Saturday and then my son the day after and we were assisted by the same staff members. Very helpful and great with my two kids, especially getting their feet measured. Cannot recommend them enough. 2 very happy children.

   Today's shopping trip was a stressful one as I had to not only find comfortable trainers for myself but also my little sister, as well as boots for winter. The staff was all very helpful in finding the right fit, they were eager to help and grab any shoes necessary. Special mention to member of staff Max for being so patient whilst we tried on about 7 different pairs! Overall, a very delightful experience at this shop and the shoes are brilliant! Will definitely come again and recommend it for sure!

   I've bought a number of pairs of shoes here, most recently a pair of boots. The staff are always very friendly and seem to show a genuine enthusiasm for what they sell. If you're after trainers in particular, you'll be hard pressed to find a better selection on the high street at least. My only mild complaint would be that the prices sadly reflect that this is a brick and mortar store rather than a website which has no such commitments. Discounts are few and far between for the more popular lines. Still, it's a price I gladly pay for the ability to try on a pair before stumping up the cash.
