Currys has really bad customer service. I have spent thousands with Currys over the past few years. It didn't stop them diddling me out of £29. I bought a camera, lens and memory card just before the Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend. The memory card was massively overpriced compared to other retailers and even the manufacturer's own site. But because of the Currys price promise, that was OK. I knew I could get the price difference refunded. So I made the purchase online and, same day, did a live chat to get the refund. The live chat operator checked the price on Amazon's site, confirmed that it was valid and agreed to refund. Then, the following week, after market prices went up and Amazon was out of stock - as a result of the Cyber Weekend - Currys retrospectively refused to honour the price match. I could not get sense out of the live chat system - who ignored my suggestion to price match with the manufacturer's own website. So I wrote to Currys in Sheffield by post. A month later and they have not had the courtesy of a reply.

Overall the experience at Curry’s was okay. The store had a good range of products, and it was useful for browsing and comparing items in person. However, the staff interaction could have been better. When it became clear that we were only looking and not planning to make a purchase the same day, the staff member seemed a bit reluctant to help further. That felt unwelcoming and not particularly kind, as customers should feel supported even when they are still in the decision-making stage.

Good range of services but such a busy store, and they manage like a queue system to keep flow or something. The manager Manu was superb in both triaging and helping out. Great customer service and knowledge from Manu but wish more staff to manage such busy leg traffic.

Great range of electronics here, from TVs to laptops and accessories. The staff are genuinely helpful, though it can be a bit of a challenge to find someone available

Horrible experience and customer service. Be aware any buys here on their return policy . I bought an £800 yoga slim laptop cause I thought Currys would be more reliable and trustworthy than buying from Amazon and others but not the case. Laptop has tracckpad issues which I recorded on my phone where it randomly stop detecting my finger and sometimes only detect 1 finger when trying to use gesture controls. Took it in for a return, guy at the desk did a 5min 'diagnostic' that printed out a document that said no issue detected and refused to do anything more. Absolutely joke, the fact that it's an intermittent issue and i have video proof of the issue doesn't matter at all. So now I have a £800 laptop that doesn't work properly.

Went to enquire about an iPhone. Shop was empty and 4 members of staff were standing within 20 feet of me. Not one came over to see if they could help just carried on talking. Decided to leave and look elsewhere. The slogan outside the door"You're here to shop we're here to help" doesn't relate to reality. Suggest they spend a little more time on staff training and teach a little more on customer care!!.

Went to buy a fridge freezer, one on display but told by disinterested assistant we couldn't order until the following week. Not friendly and certainly not helpful,no alternatives suggested or anything. Went to argos got exactly what we wanted with great service from in store to delivery men. Know where we will be going in future

Customer service is poor. I've been in the store a few times the last few weeks and each time I go in, there are numerous people congregating together chatting rather than seeking to help customers. You wait at the counter to purchase something, and I spotted 6 people stood about chatting and nobody behind the counter. One person who was already doing something and they were the one that came over to serve me. I return a couple of weeks for a collection and I get impolite service. Again multiple people stood about chatting in groups. Clearly the store has an issue resourcing properly, as everyone clearly seems underutilised. My issue in particular was that I got really blunt responses - coming across rather rude and cold instead of being warm and helpful. Rating it two stars rather than one because, despite the unwelcoming service, it was at least relatively quick when collecting the order. However when purchasing in store, it wasn't as speedy, as people were too busy chatting within their cliques.

Had a very bad experience. The store manager passed a contradicting response via the staff to what customer services confirmed over the phone. I am left with two vouchers which I don't really need. Eventually I will have (forced) to use it to buy something from them. I'm yet to get a refund on the 2nd voucher. Happy to pay more elsewhere rather than come back to Currys ever.

Staff is semi helpful and from the 5 fridges we asked to purchase not one was available. Earliest delivery time was over a month. Why have something displayed in the showroom that's out of stock? At least mark it as such in the showroom. Also having to ask a total of three colleagues to find out if you have a specific type of cable adapter seems like bad staff training.
