Cafe was good but only two tills open in main store on a Sunday.and those not having the time to queue or didn't buy anything had to push their way through the till queue to get out. They would not arrange extra staff nor allow customers to make another way out . The email address at the exit just bounced
Lovely good quality stock. Customer service colleagues could be more careful with what you buy. We had towels and after scanning them the guy just screwed them up. This is not the first time this has happened or the first branch
Having read other people's reviews I am not surprised. Customer service is long gone. Went in, not busy. Was looking for fabric, 2 ladies were at the counter. When we chose what we wanted, walked over to the counter and no one was there. Waited 15 minutes. Finally someone noticed us and came over, said she couldn't cut fabric but went out back to get someone then just disappeared. Never to be seen again. Finally went over to pay counter and asked there then someone came to cut the fabric but with a bad attitude. Made a point of saying she had been on the toilet. For 15 minutes? Firstly that is not our fault she was on the toilet, where was the other lady? Secondly you don't need to tell the customer you were on the toilet!!!! If you don't want the business then just shut it down or get some staff that actually want to work there and give them lessons in customer service. If you don't want to give customer service then you are in the wrong job. Will take our business elsewhere next time
It’s located right next to IKEA, which is very handy! They have a good selection of products. I would recommend to look at the guide of where everything is - it’s a big store, and can often feel like a maze sometimes, and it can take quite a while to find what you’re looking for. There is an upper floor, with a lift and stairs connecting them. You can also do click and collect, and you can see if items are in stock here online. There are trolleys available.
We had a fantastic experience on 16/03, our first time using the cafe. We were very impressed by the great customer service of the lady with red/orange hair. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations of what retailer cafe food should be! We will definitely come back when next making a trip to Dunelm. I hope this lady receives some recognition for her hard work!
It was really interesting because the check out made my receipt so easy to keep! One product type was a little messily kept; plastic bottles that are drop-safe but confusing to read through. Everything else was almost perfect.
Excellent range of goods and clean and clutter free. However the main reason for the 5 stars is for Luigi (greeter) and Emma (Checkout colleague) who were beyond great today and so helpful as I had to collect goods with my toddler with me today - would give more stars if possible for their phenomenal customer service!
Good shop with good brands quality of products is certainly better than the IKEA tat across the road, but obviously IKEA has a much Greater range as this Dunelm is fairly small, it does also have a fantastic little cafe with a good range of tea, coffee and snack bites
i like this British brand, though Dunelm is an abbreviation of the Latin word Dunelmensis but still love it for being a British. So much clutter and the store seemed like a maze with no sense or direction. Having said that, there are bargains to have especially when the SALE sign are displayed. The tills area is well hidden and the slow service at the tills at times makes life very miserable. The batteries section sale near the tills area was definitely not a bargain. The two in a pack Duracell batteries were sold for just over £3 a set - I paid £2.08 equivalent for a pack of the same at Costco. The male toilets visited were in a horrible state - dirty floor and hand basins and foul smelling urinals and the whole area. Visited this store again last week and male toilets were with awful stink of urine, dirty basin with workmen gloves on top and filthy marks.
