   I wanted to take this opportunity, albeit very belatedly, to thank you for all of your help in the recent purchase and installation of our wood-burning stove. I made several calls to various companies before contacting you, none of which proved very helpful. They all said that the open fire, which I wanted, was not feasible despite not seeing the property. You were very open to me having an open fire and explained some of the additional features that I needed to do to make this work, such as core-drilled vents, etc. You then came over to visit us and spent some considerable time looking at the fire and explaining the options available, leaving us with a brochure to look through for ideas. After careful consideration, we opted for a wood-burning stove, which, after discussing with you, proved to be the correct option for us. You made every effort to get this installed before Xmas, which I didn’t think would happen, but to my amazement and your hard work, we had the stove installed a few days after your visit. The installation process was very smooth, and the chaps that fitted it were very clean and tidy and gave me a full demonstration of how to light, use and care for it. Overall, my experience with you and your company was brilliant, and I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone who wants your products and outstanding customer service. Many Thanks

   Trevor could not have been more helpful, kind or knowledgeable by phone. We sent him photos of the fireplace we have and he explained our options re. keeping or replacing with a stove. Even though his team couldn't service/test as required - he contacted a local company and explained what we needed (as I told him I was worried I'd forget on the phone!) who got in touch with us. At no point did he try to sell us something expensive we don't want or need - as we've experienced previously! Big thanks, Trevor.

   We moved into a house where a cast iron fireplace had been partially removed and we had no idea what to do with it. We took some pictures along and Jo was very knowledgeable and immediately able to explain our options to us. Jo also managed to source a second hand surround as well as insert. The work to remove and replace the insert was explained in detail at the survey and the work itself was carried out with care and consideration. The result is we have a fantastic looking fireplace that we are very happy with and suits the house very well. Overall, very knowledgeable, friendly and professional service throughout.

   We purchased a wood burner with installation, earlier this year and have been very pleased with the hollistic end to end service and speedy communication. The installation was done by Theale Fireplaces rather than a subcontractor, so we just had one point of contact. The granite was matched and installed so well it looks like it has always been there. The team were really flexible on installation dates, and worked with our timetable when we needed to reschedule. The installation went without a hitch and there was no mess left. We liked the support and knowledge that was provided and no hard sell or hidden surprises.

   We went today as new customers trying to get some help with replacing our gas fire with a wood burner. We had no idea why but the sales guy was rude and condescending who seemed to ignore my wife's questions and only speak to myself. I've never experienced such shocking sales service in my life. You are the closest stockist to us for our preferred stove but due to this experience we will be taking our £3.5k of sales elsewhere. I just hope the owners of this Fireplace Centre reads this review to ask why the sales persons you've employed is willing to lose you real business!    Arranged a visit from Theale Fireplaces to talk through options for installing a wood burner and a cast iron surround. Jo gave us great advice and we had no hesitation in placing our order. It was all delivered and installed on time. Took advice from Jo on what would look good and we are not disappointed! Our fire and surround looks amazing and is a real center piece for the room. We are looking at installing another one next year and will going back to Theale Fireplaces.
