I’d say this is the best restaurant in Didcot! The food is fresh, full of flavour, and the prices are very reasonable. Everything we tried was delicious, and the portions were generous too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great Turkish meal in town!

Returning from London through Didcot and searched for a restaurant locally. I arrived just as Zigana was closing but was offered a Chicken Chicken Beyti wrap as takeaway. I also bought the shakshuka and Dolma (stuffed vine leaves). The owner threw in a free dish (I chose Yogurtlu Patlican) and free beer while I waited for the chicken to cook over the charcoal. As I left, he also added fresh baked bread. The food is absolutely delicious, incredible balance of spices, herbs, heat and sour yoghurt. I will return for an in house meal in the near future, and how lovely to be greeted with such generosity. Many thanks.

Not a local but visiting family living in Abingdon - so it was around a 15min drive to the restaurant. We love Turkish food and so brought our relative from Hong Kong to try. The food was really amazing. Will definitely come back and recommend to our family members who are more local. The servers were less experience - I am guessing part time helpers during academic holidays. One of the more experience staff was more sociable and courteous.

Our experience on our date at Ziganas was amazing. Service was fast. Food was luxurious and tasted amazing. Service was so kind and patient when we couldn’t choose our food and helped us in paying quickly. This was amazing. I recommend coming. Try out their bread and hummus and chicken shish

We dropped in for dinner as we felt like having shish-kebab for Christmas Eve dinner. This restaurant is near where we are staying. And the pictures looked amazing. We quickly made a reservation on the phone and got here to find out they weren’t super busy. The food options are good. We ordered lamb shish, the chicken shish and the lamb stew. The food came quickly and they tasted amazing! The thing we weren’t so impressed with was the servers. We were sat next to another table with a screaming baby. Since I saw they weren’t very busy I asked the server if it would be okay to move us to a quieter table. He simply said no those tables were all booked by other guests. Without looking on the computer screen you know that’s a made up excuse! By the time we finished our dinner, neither one of the tables he claimed booked had any guests. Not impressed is all I can say. At the same time, there were three young servers standing in the restaurant doing quite literally nothing. They just chatted amongst themselves in front of all the guests. It feels these kids need to get better trained. If you care for good Turkish food I still recommend this place. Your experience with the service might vary though.

Really good food at this friendly restaurant. The picture is of a mixed starter, which I had as a main course and it was plenty for me. My wife's kebabs were also good. The only negative is the service was a bit slow, especially waiting to pay, but it's worth it.

Fantastic Turkish restaurant. Food is fresh and cooked to order. Plenty of choice and great value. Portions are big, but they'll happily supply you with a takeout box to take it home. We were all stuffed! Only managed to picture the starters. We're already planning another visit. The waitress was also very attentive and helpful.
