Never reviewed a supermarket cafe in my life but this is exceptional. Cafe is spacious, light with huge windows and no music so peaceful. Staff were polite and efficient and constantly kept the tables cleared. They never stopped the jacket potato with cheese and beans had more cheese than i have ever experienced and had a very fresh salad on the side. The decaf americano was better than most coffee chains. The chips with the fish and chips were brilliant and a huge portion. All day breakfast. Outstanding! Oh and you can walk down to the river Thames behind !

Just went in for a coffee and cake. I ordered a medium Americano with hot milk. The coffee was okay but the quantity of milk provided was very small. I asked for a further small amount but was refused unless I paid for it. I have never before been asked to pay extra if more milk was needed to make the coffee to my taste. I wonder if the same policy applies to sugar! I will not be using the Cafe again.

I went there to have drinks and bit of snacks while waiting for my car to be valletted. I fancied scones and it says that it serves with butter and jam. He told me that it doesn't go with jam as it also ordered dragon ice drink as it was very warm that day. Noooooo good at all. The server is very rude, and he filled my drinks with loads of ice which at the end as if I was drinking water full of ice.i will never go there again. I am not sure if it is own by Tesco but what I had is a rude server and drinks full of ice.

Great food. Hash brown are better than McDonald's breakfast for sure. Full English is great, just need to add some extras. Price is great compared to most cafΓ©s. Only thing I don't like is they recently stopped allowing you to swap menu items on your breakfast which is a bit of a letdown for myself who doesn't really eat eggs so have to suffer it.

Food is average, everything is fried and for what you pay itβs not worth it. Saw mould on the wrap towards the end of finishing it and started to feel sick. No impressed.

One star because very variable level of service depending on staff. One week it's brilliant and friendly the next it's surly and off hand. It doesn't matter if food is good if you have a nasty taste in your mouth from the customer service. Two and half stars for the breakfast. Full English breakfast is just that full; egg, bacon, hash browns, baked beans, fresh tomato, sausage and toast. Drink is extra. With ability to swap items for extra of other items. Overall the ingredients quality is average. Great shame it cannot be excellent by purchasing quality ingredients from Tesco assuming the ingredients do come from Tesco and not from wholesale suppliers. Parking a breeze. Cafe itself open and airy with new layout. Cleanliness excellent.

Very pleasantly surprised. We had cod & chips and scampi & chips. Better than our local chippy tbh. Wasnt expecting this from a supermarket cafe. Seating was pleasant and spacious. And what made it all the more awesome was the chirpy waitress, nice to see a smiling face and winning attitude. Wanted to mention her name here, but thought it might seem creepy to go back and ask!

Excellent value traditional English food. Staff are friendly. Drinks are a tad expensive though... would be improved if windows were concertina to let the outside in. Also, if side dishes were more varied such as button mushrooms...
