Hello to everybody looking at the reviews The cafe isn’t the best but isn’t the worst the prices are fine the food is good but you can’t expect the best the cafe has really done a turn around now so if you have a bad service they are really nice people so they would help you
Grim. Dirty place all round. Tables are sticky, toilets were disgusting with faeces smeared all over. The mega breakfast was terrible. Cheap ingredients. Won't be returning. Shame.
Ordered from Uber so can’t comment on service. But food a MASSIVE disappointment. £6.50 for a sausage and bacon baguette. Cheap sausages and 1 bit of bacon which was mostly fat and not well done like I had asked for. Hash browns over cooked and dry. Not sure what went wrong as ordered from here many times and never had any complaints. Obviously breakfast is not their thing.
Extraordinary place gives some creepy vibes but I’m with it. Comically large spoon on the wall I could sadly not use. Great selection of food Hershel curry is on the menu. Brother gorg scoffs maffive bogger very yum. Found pubic lice in bacon bap but scrumpdidilyumptious. Staff was great and he has a great shirt. Would definitely come back. Xx
Lovely friendly young lady serving, credit to the cafe, helpful and welcoming. Cant complain about the food was lovely and fresh and hot, very reasonable prices , hate to criticise as lovely place and i would have given 5* if not for this, but only downfall is the vinegar bottles need changing, very cloudy and bitty and looked off, wether been affected by recent heat I'm not sure? But I'm a bit of a weirdo that loves vinegar on my English breakfast and that was the only thing that let me down, that aside the young lady serving did make the effort to go and get me some in a bowl that wasn't off and was very apologetic. Won't put me off returning, great food options, great prices, just hope there's fresh vinegar next time :) and I'll look forward to returning.
Old review from before I'd eaten in: Delicious food every time, this is a regular place for me and my family to eat from, definitely recommend. New review after eating in: When ordering food, the food was always amazing, I've changed my rating as after eating in, I've completely changed my mind, as they prioritise takeaways so much, that it took 45 minutes for us to receive our omelettes, only after asking about how much longer they would be, did our food arrive 5 minutes later, however, they arrived almost completely uncooked, we cut into it, and the inside was liquid. My recommendation is to never eat in, only order through ubereats etc.
Food was fantastic. Exactly what you want from a full English breakfast, staff were friendly and food arrived quickly after ordering.
Great little cafe, good food and very friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend this place to all. Great value for money. I will be back for more Great food.
On a trip, used uber for the first time, great order, only 3 mins between order being ready and delivered, cafe express does volume on their food they don't cut corners, full English breakfast was proper.
