   My mum is gluten free. She asked for gluten free sandwich but they wrote down a jacket potato. She which asked well is it gluten free so I can eat with my family and the lady said “I wouldn’t eat the salad” there was also cous cous on the plate which is semolina… that is not gluten free. Very poor service. Will not be back!

   Good hot chocolate and cake and generous offers with Dobbies card. Staff are friendly and haven’t had to wait long for food. The atmosphere is just really lacking and dull, it feels like a school canteen.

   Pretty clean, food cooked to order. Sometimes feels over priced, and serveral chip portions I've had have had green ones I feel should have been caught before cooked. But staff are friendly and is a nice little cafe overall.

   Although the range of food is limited in the cafe, the prices are competitive and the portions ample. We had jacket potatoes. Although the cafe doesn't have air con, you can remain cool in summer by sitting under the fan in the centre of the cafe. Alternatively sit outside under parasols. Service was quick and the staff were friendly too.

   Upon visiting I was surprised by the prices of the food but found some items to definitely be worth price. Such as the croque madame. The staff work hard and cakes seem to be very popular (didn't get to try any as they were pretty much all gone!) . My only reasons for it not being a 5* is that some items like a can of coke (£2.20) are to pricey to have me coming back and the overall decor could use a revamp.
