Emanuel was fantastic today. He served a perfect cappuccino and tea for us while having great conversation while we wait. Definitely an excellent place to stop when he’s about. Welcoming, professional and funny.
3 people making drinks and nobody serving. After queueing for a long time, had to ask for my drink again as they'd "forgotten!" Very disorganised and seemed like it was everyone's first day
Horrible! Unfriendly service. Two blond “baristas” arguing with each other! Bacon bap served flat as a witches tit. Overpriced franchise rubbish staffed by minimum wage kids. Well worth a miss.
We visited the Costa location to grab a coffee, but unfortunately, there was only one staff member working. She was on a break, sitting at the front desk having dinner. There was no sign to notify us that the shop would be closed for 20 minutes. It was disappointing for me and the other customers waiting.
Really slow.Only one staff member working at the tills and at the coffee machine. Her colleague was sleeping on the table.
I normally avoid Costa but needs must on a 6 hour motorway journey. Got a great cup of early grey tea, free warm milk for the kids and kind, friendly service from a server named Soya. I was grateful for all three of these things - thank you Costa Reading West
Coffee was the worst in my life! Staff much loud and unprofessional. They make jokes between each other, loudly laugh and ignore the customers. I do not recommend at all. Shame cannot give 0 stars.
The people making the coffee where friendly and made a nice coffee. The "manager - Jakub" was extremely rude, constantly walking away from the till and distracting the people making the coffee, he was not greeting customers, constantly coming from behind the covid barrier to "listen" to customers and leaning very close. The tables where not clean lots having food and liquid still on them, there where two tables that had food all over the floor not cleaned up since before we turned up (30mins)
Costa is normally really good and on the ball. But this service station costa was like watching slow-mo. Took 20 minutes for 3 couples in front and ourselves to get served. Every other persons drink was wrong. Staff not wearing masks properly during COVID and our drinks were not made correctly. Ordered 2 salted caramel frostinos with coffee and cream but was served without the usual caramel crunch and salted- caramel syrup. Not worth the price or time, disappointed.
