Tables dirty, floor dirty, bins full. Leak on ceiling. Tables not well organised, lot of space wasted.

This is the second time I’ve come into this particular Starbucks. Both times it has been more on the quiet side…However, every single table was filthy, it had left over cups & plates of peoples leftover food. The food options weren’t presented nicely in the fridge. There was only a few options for display purposes & a note stating we needed to notify them of what we wanted. There was also a bucket holding water that was leaking from the ceiling with a wet floor sign…It’s been there for the last few weeks. The leather cushioned seats in the main area were filthy, covered in stains & food crumbs. There was also an occasional fruit fly that kept disturbing me. I ordered a cheese twist for myself & my son to share, when it was given to me it was hard and stale…as if it has been left there overnight. I also ordered the new chocolate mousse latte. Firstly, I asked what it was and how it was made and the response was very basic. I asked if it could be made with an alternative milk in which it was. After receiving my drink, I realised I was never told if the chocolate mousse on top was still suitable to have after asking for it to be done with an alternative milk. Which isn’t good for anyone with a milk allergy or intolerance. I am overall unhappy with the customer service, food quality & hygiene of this branch.

I have just witnessed the most arrogant and stuck up staff member that I’ve ever seen. Just a minute ago, at 10.07 am , 3 September, she didn’t provide with her name. The way she serves the clients is appalling. Arrogant, rude, makes you feel like you came to her house and ask for freebies. She gave me and the other guy a most disgusted look and made me feel very uncomfortable. Unacceptable and terrible service . People like that should not work in customer service . In addition to the above, she made the most terrible coffee for the client before Me, by just chucking everything into the cup and serving it with a sour face. I am gutted with that person. The most unpleasant experience I’ve ever had in Starbucks

Reviewing this particular moment so that management can fix it immediately. On Sunday, July 13, around 4:50pm, my partner and I went in the cafe to order coffee - I was able to use my app to queue up my order and hoping to have to stay an hour more considering on Google Maps and on the Starbucks app it said the shop is open until 6pm. However while waiting for our orders around 10 mins of being seated, one staff member made rounds and informed everyone that the store is now closed. Everyone inside the cafe were surprised as all thought it should close at 6pm. When we’re about to get our orders, the barista gave us a really pissed off look on us and told us we ordered AFTER 5pm - we were so shocked by how rude the barista was. I understand that she was expecting to be free of duty by 5pm but also we ordered through the app before 5pm plus had it been stated in the app and google maps that closing time is not 6pm then you won’t have people being able to order via app and showing up wanting to buy coffee at the thought that the cafe is still open. First, this particular barista on the Sunday 5pm shift was very rude and lacks the customer service anyone in retail should have (the other times I was there, they are nice). Second, for the manager of the store, so that your staff don’t have to suffer the consequence of confused customers - please change your closing time at Google Maps and Starbucks app. The last thing we need is unreliable information and staff being rude at us as if we did the wrong thing here.

Unnecessary ENVIRONMENTAL impact! (1) Doors so large and centrally located it’s freezing to sit in during winter. Why not add another set of doors (inside or outside) to create an ‘air lock’? (2) Also only using disposable cups for drinking in when clean crockery clearly visible - seemed lazy as it was busy and about an hour to closing! No staff clearing tables, unclean, poor quality coffee - expect MUCH MUCH better for over £4.50 a drink!

A beautiful new building with your average Starbucks options. However, the staff at this specific site totally ruin the experience. The first time I came was during summer and a group of young ladies were working. They made no effort to acknowledge me, and when placing my order were dismissive. Ultimately this ruined the experience and I now avoid going here despite it being my local.

Every time I’ve ordered on the app they tell me they have never received it They close to early on some days and when you ask for a coffee in a proper cup to sit in they still make your drink in a take away cup. My coffee always tastes better at the Starbucks at the village gym in Bracknell when made by Vincent I think he’s name is. The Wokingham branch staff also look a bit lost

For the past year this store has struggled with staff. The opening times (9-4) have been really inconvenient for people on their way to work or on their way home. However this week I went in and was greeted my Tyler. I've never met him before but he's completely turned the place around. He greeted me from across the room, he asked me if I wanted to try my brownie heated up as it is a "game changer" on a cold day. He was right. I've never been offered a warm cake before. He also asked if I would try a different coffee bean which he recommended, at no extra cost to me so not an upsell. What an asset he is to this store. They really needed a colleague like Tyler to bring this branch back to life.

Extremely poor and rude service. We asked for one drink without whipped cream but they put whipped cream on both. We were then going to sit down at around 3.45pm when they were closing at 4 but were rudely told by Ellie that the whole shop had been cleaned and we were not allowed to sit down. When I asked where I could sit with 2 kids Ellie just looked at me blankly but Alex kindly said we could sit outside. We did not as we felt unwanted bearing in mind there were other customers still allowed to sit inside starbucks. We will not be returning. Disappointing to say the least
