Visited The Old Bell completely by chance, it was a great choice. Two of our party shared a chateaubriand which was excellent. The vegan burger was the best I've had, also the wagyu burger was highly rated. Great cocktails and wine, friendly and efficient service, nothing was too much trouble.
Ordered an Oxford Gold and it was old, tasted like vinegar. Changed it for other ale which was Brakspear IPA but that was cloudy and not right either. So, £20.48 for a Guinness and a double G&T it was, Thought I was in Covent Garden for a minute!
I have been coming to this pub for years and is now my local. It’s a very warm and welcoming traditional old pub in Henley. The staff are all very accommodating and the landlady and her partner as the most friendly hosts. When food is supplied it’s delicious and have never left here hungry. Would recommend to anyone- you won’t be disappointed your be very much looked after! X
A cozy, quirky pub, with so much character. Loved popping in here for a drink. A great atmosphere, friendly service. Plenty of selection and good prices. Only advice...watch your head on the beams!!! Duck, duck, duck!! I have a recomendation after witnessing a customer hit his head badly on the beam near the bar. I am sat in another pub right now and in the picture attached they have cushioned the risky beam. May e an idea for "The Old Bell". As the sign is not visible enough to customers.
Lovely pub. Great atmosphere. Looks like your front room at the back with a lovely fire. Fantastic curry night on Friday. Absolutely beautiful food at a great price. Highly recommended.
A great pub. Walked in during an interesting quiz, and was met by friendly locals. Bar staff really friendly and fun, wish I could have for to know a couple of locals a lot more. Definitely recommend.
Lovely, friendly, cosy traditional English pub. Low beamed ceiling. Great beer and drinks. Great Monday quiz nights. Claire is a star landlady.
Charming, perfect country pub, excellent service and great drinks selection (both beer and wine!). Highly recommended!
