Nice little pub. Outside tables and an area for private bookings. A good selection of beers. I'm only interested in the cask ales. On tap for the two nights I visited were Timothy Taylor and Old specked Hen. OSH hit the spot with me. Old Peculiar wasn't on, unfortunately. Only wet sales. Pub does not do food. Must be doing something right.
My wife and I had our special day in the garden of The Crown. It was amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a better day (even though it was raining!) Jodi was unbelievable from the first meeting and that put us at ease. Everyone had an amazing time and the food was just fantastic! Feel so thankful we had the reception here and wouldn’t have changed it for the world! Dan and Emma. X
Stopped at the pub for a drink after going for a walk. The staff were very friendly. Plenty of beer, wine and spirit choices. Wonderfully big garden with plenty of shaded area if needed If in the area again will try to pop in for food next time.
Cozy little place, beer was good. Seven of us went and nobody had any issues with their orders.
Great Pub with good drink selection, screens for watching sports and a dart board. Nice snack choices with the chilli spirals being a favourite.
Closed when we got there but soon opened and the barman was thrilled to see us and was very welcoming! Lovely start to the day.
Clive at The Crown stepped in and organised our wedding reception, a week before the wedding( when our previous venue let us down). He and the team were amazing, they couldn’t do enough for us and we are so grateful. The venue has a lovely outside area with a tipi and festoon lighting. The band they recommended were wonderful, food was great, plentiful and catered extremely well to veggies, gluten-free and even an onion free. We had a perfect day, thank you all for doing so much to make our special day, even more special.
Great food and friendly staff. We ate outside and it was a cosy place. 100% recommend.
Delightful pub with quant and clean outside deck and beer garden.New management starring mid- October 2018.Apparantly BBQ's and Hog Roasts on sport Saturdays coming up for the winter season with new menu and open for functions.
