The lad in here is a star! Fixed a pair of my wife's boots where the zip had gone at the back, then another zip on a back pack I had. Very friendly, very helpful. Goes out of his way to help out. Would highly recommend (Oh and the shop is dog friendly too).

Very impressive service from John who repaired a pair of my dad’s shoes. He patched and hand stitched a couple of areas where the seams were coming apart, and the repairs are barely visible. His workmanship is excellent and there is now a lot more life left in the shoes. Huge thanks and a well deserved 5 stars!
Rebuilt the sole on a pair of barker work shoes. Added a nylon sole to the worn leather and blended it in seamlessly. Rebuilt the toe. The shoes had previously been repaired at Timpsons and didn't last. This was an excellent job again. Great craftsmanship.
I visited this cobblers with my favourite pair of suede Chelsea boots for them to be re-soled. They provided excellent advice and recommendations based on their knowledge of the materials they use and the job was completed to a fantastic standard. I don't think it can be said often nowadays but they're true Craftsmen. Excellent job.
