   I've been shopping there for years. These days, despite so many online options, Halfords is still more than relevant. Don't assume online will be cheaper. For example, I recently popped in and got some service ramps. Very similar ones are much more expensive online. On my visit yesterday I needed a tool which they had but I couldn't find. A pleasant assistant tried, but also couldn't find it. They took me to the manager who was helping a customer at the till. While I waited I saw him patiently help a customer with a Motoring Club issue which took a while. Then he found the tool I needed. The day before, I'd collected a heavy item and they offered to carry it to to my car. Many shops seem to have given up trying to display items properly and provide good service. Pleased to say that's not the case here based on recent experience.

   Excellent customer service, they went out there way to get me the socket I needed to get a job done, as I had lost my original. As for the socket top quality at a good price, Been using Halfords sockets for well over 20 years never broke one, just wear them out . Thanks again

   Needed a new dash cam. Arranged to have it fitted on Thur. As it was a front and back dash cam a HUGE challenge presented itself with trying to install it on the rear door. Steve had a brilliant plan and arranged for a return of the dash cam for one that can be inserted into the front cam. Would have cost more but they sorted it with no additional payment. Work was quick, clean and professional. Steve took time to show me how to adjust and clear the cam as well. Very impressed and would recommend. Thanks Steve.

   Been at Halfords to grab some stuff for my car. The staff were very helpful and great. They changed my wiper blades incredibly quickly. It was really undeserved for the hardworking guys outside to be in such thin clothes, their uniform is definitely not keeping them warm even while out in the rain or under their fitting pavilion. They were shaking from the cold weather. I'm a seamstress, so I could tell for sure they were suffering. Incredible knowledge and skills, truly helpful, but their uniforms are not suitable for this weather!

   I had a really good experience. Winter car check lovely helpful lad doing it. Picked up a click and collect and the girl bought it to my car without me asking. I'm sorry I didn't get names. All staff were very helpful in all.

   Purchased a bike for my daughter for Christmas and I instantly received an email from the store saying the bike was available for collection and I had 7 days to collect. On the 5th day (3 days before Christmas) I receive a telephone from the store saying the bike was no longer available for collection due to a supplier issue and it was impossible for me to get this before Christmas. I spoke to senior management as I was furious - I had ordered well in advance and for them to tell me I could no longer collect the item was ridiculous. I was told they would order it back in for me by early January and that I would receive a discount. Looks like none of that was actually true because they sent me an email shortly after saying my order had been cancelled and they also refunded me the money. So all in all a huge error on their part and absolutely no intention to rectify this. @Halfords thank you very much for practically ruining my little girls Christmas. With the living crisis going on we had to cut back on the majority of presents and this was one of the main presents my girl was going to get. She now has nothing and you don't even have the decency to try and come up with a solution. This is nothing but pure cowboy behaviour and hugely disappointing customer service. I for one will never order from you again.

   Mixed experiences. I think good stock for things to fit yourself. Bike repairs very variable based on the staff. Just been told in the run up to Christmas no repairs at all for 20+ days... . So if you want dependable expert bike repairs try Silvester Brothers (5 minute drive into Farnborough).

   I have just had my bulbs replaced. Turned up and within 15 minutes they had fit my new bulbs and I was ready to pay. No hassle, lovely service from both the young man who fit my lights and also the kind lady behind the counter who helped me get my 5 pound discount when I signed up on the app. Cheap, quick and you won't beat the service. Thanks guys

   Never usually have problems with any Halfords store to be honest, however, after looking online and seeing I could reserve the item and collect in an hour, I thought I’d visit in person to ensure it was what I was after. I was then informed it was on display only and not in stock and could not be sold. The next day, I phoned to ensure stock was available before going down to collect the item and was informed they had stock so I went down to collect. Turns out all of the items ‘in stock’ are out on the shop front and used for all display models, meaning all stock was actually in use by the store and they never actually stock them. So twice in two days I’ve been informed incorrectly by both online and over the phone. Turn up and hope for the best, I guess?

   So on Thursday afternoon dropped by Halfords as I needed to buy some oil and other bits for the car. This store is situated on the Farnborough Retail park just 5 mins off the M3. I found the staff helpful and friendly and purchased what I needed very quickly. The shop itself was not too busy and the items looked well stocked with no empty shelves. The store also appeared to be very clean and everything you could ask for. Apart from car related items if you go upstairs you will find a section for bicycles. It appears this store helps with fitting batteries and even bike repairs so seems they are a very diverse store in what they offer to the customers. Would highly recommend this store based on my brief visit.
