Just brought a used car from Anchor cars Tadley, had a really positive experience I was dealt with by Jack and he made the whole buying a new car effortless and couldn’t be anymore helpful. So happy with my new car, great garage, everyone was friendly and nothing was too much bother.
I wanted to see a car I found on autotrader. Called in advance and it was easy to get an appointment. Anthony met me and walked me to the car and let me look at it alone, no pressure. Then we went for a test drive and then sat down to speak about what they offer. The car wasn't for me (too many compromises for me, so I need something else) but I felt I needed to write this as the experience was pleasant. I may still purchase a car from them, but based on this experience I'd recommend.
I bought a car from this garage 8 weeks ago, I brushed pass a hedge which revealed the bodged repair, they failed to declare that the bumper had been damaged and repaired very badly. Which would clearly have affected the price. A professional came out and pointed this out to me so new bumper is needed. I contacted them to resolve this at which point they said sold as seen and took no responsibility.
Anthony was very approachable and provided plenty of reassurance when buying the car. Anthony was patient and took the time to answer any questions or queries that I had. I have got my car from Anchor Cars Tadley for over 2 weeks now. I must say I am very happy with my purchase. I've worked with Richard who was extremely patient with me and answered all my questions. No question was stupid for him. As I do not know anything related to cars this was a very stressful process for me but Richard gave me a lot of reassurance. I am very happy that I've got my car from them. The garage looks very good and they have a good selection of cars. I would like to say thank you to Richard for helping me get my dram car.

I recently moved to the area and have been looking for a good garage for months and honestly, I cant fault Anchor. They took a look at my car, gave me a decent quote to carry out repairs and sorted the problem out ASAP for me. They were really helpful in answering all my questions and kept me informed on everything. Will definitely be using them again!
Honestly very disappointed , my van was booked for a service and repair . Van running poorly and occasionally going to limp mode . Also a clunking noise . Service was upsold and had new brakes at front fitted. Also new support strut . Gear box support strut changed to rectify clunking noise . Collect van , noise still present and broke down on way home and van goes to limp mode . Nothing done . Back to garage . This visit I was informed the diagnostic said new thermostat and housing required . This work is completed and van does now not break down . Just the noise now . Back on a Saturday with a different technician and with in 2 minutes of being on a ramp he identified a problem with driveshaft . This was shown to me . Clear and obvious movement . So for a service and brakes some unnecessary works And now drive shaft required total bill in excess of £1300.00 if they proceed not to mention yet another day maybe more without van totaling 4 days . All of the above could and should of been diagnosed, and sorted in the one visit . Not prepared to let them have another go . Not sure how they are going to defend this but reading back through other reviews , It will probably be something like " fake news " . This is a truthful reflection of my experience .
Used them 3 times for my problematic vivaro, replaced gear box, injectors, service, bonnet cable. These guys will 100% be my go to guys for guaranteed future issues. Fantastic highly recommend.
