£5.40 for a medium late?! Also was trying to upsell everything to me. They guy made a mistake I paid by card then realised had to get a refund and start again but then he forgot to scan my points app again!
Drive thru that we use when commuting to work. Staff are attentive and professional.
We were served by a lovely woman- I think her name badge said Katie! So helpful patient and served a whole line of customers quicker than I’ve ever seen a Costa worker get through them in my life- that’s including stores that have extra staff in hand and she was doing it single handedly! Well done to this girl and keeping a smile on her face throughout!
Just stopped for a quick coffee. Whilst waiting at the counter for our coffee my husband pointed out to me a teacake that was in the cabinet next to the till. It was absolutely disgusting because it was covered in flies!!! We mentioned it to the girl serving and she said "I know we don't serve that one it's been there a long time" What!!! We only had coffee, would not eat there!!!
We stopped here for drinks to go on our way with the grandkids to the seaside. My grand daughter is gluten intolerant, when I asked if their hot chocolate was gluten free my request was handled brilliantly. The lady knew how to check and did so in a careful and unhurried way (despite a small queue building behind!) They made sure the drink was prepared in a freshly washed jug and served it separately. Exceptional service!! Brandon if you are reading this, thank you!
The concept is good, but it's just far to slow. Me and a mate did a test. He managed to park up, walk in to servicers order his coffee and get out before I had collected mine in the drive thru. Staff can only seem to make one drink at a time, not very efficient at all. If there is more then 4 cars infront of you. Go inside. It's quicker.
