This is a charming cafe set right in the centre of Romsey, looking out onto the main square. I had a chicken and brie panini which was truly delicious. And all of the young staff were charming and enthusiastic. Thank you and a Happy New Year.

BRING BACK DEBBIE AND SAMANTHA. The food in here used to lovely. I came in the other day I had a breakfast and unfortunately it was one of the worst meals I’ve had in my life. The food tasted off, was poorly prepared and left me feeling very unwell. After getting home, I ended up throwing up, which made the experience even worse. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was genuinely unpleasant and concerning.

Spent £39 and had the worst breakfast, we ordered 2 x big breakfasts where we had to add and pay extra for a hash brown, black pudding and mushrooms - the mushrooms were not fresh and we got 2 each, the hash browns or tomato’s were not cooked, we were served bread that was not toasted with margarine slapped on it, the sausages were the cheapest you could find and inedible along with the bacon that was rock hard, it was extremely smoky inside, tables not cleared. Overall it was absolutely disgusting.

Disappointing Experience The staff were polite, which I appreciated. However, one of the staff members was singing quite badly while we were trying to eat, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. The food itself was terrible. I paid extra for some items, but they were brought out separately and after my main meal, which didn’t make sense. For example, I paid £1.25 for an extra hash brown, and this is how it was served—completely underwhelming. Overall, not worth the money.

We ate here as it was dog friendly. There was some confusion over the prices as without wearing glasses the 5 looked like a 3 on the menu. The staff said other customers had been confused by this also. The food was tasty and the portions were generous. The staff were friendly.

What a great cafe, very dog friendly and super friendly staff, so we had coffee (and the best apple cake ever) and went back for lunch after our walk!!

What a delightful little find this was! Café Fresh is staffed by some really lovely ladies and their menu is great too. Nice prices and plenty on your plate. Highly recommended!!

What a fab breakfast! Lovely freshly cooked full English and loads of toast. Great view over the market square on a busy Saturday. Black pudding lacked a bit of taste but bacon was delicious! Will be back.

I love this little local run cafe, no multi store brand this. It does great tea, coffee, cakes, and lunches. You can now sit out the front or back, if you want fresh outdoor air, or inside in its surprisingly spacious cafe. The staff are friendly and serve you efficiently. Head here rather than the nationals that can't hold a candle to that local feel.
