This place is often quite disgusting in terms of cleanliness. The toilets are gross. The tables aren't clean. The wait times are extremely long and staff are ad hoc. Half nice, half absolutely terrible. My order of Matcha was no more than 2 inches or less of milk and then ice. The drink was gone in secs and given the £5+ price tag, this is so overpriced. I ordered a second drink and I asked for no or little ice as I had a more normal sized drink. I was literally given my cup back (same cup) with a kid top of milk. It didn't even go half way of the cup. That was supposed to be a barista drink. Very poor. Good location but the place is filthy and dated and poor value.

Always a mixed experience depending on who is serving you. This morning was served by someone new. The cup felt particularly light but was in rush to work and long queue. By time got to work the cream had melted revealing why it was so light....the cup was only half full. Will avoid if certain staff are serving there. (Others have been great so mixed views)

Service in here is extremely slow, there was one customer in front of me and it took 15 minutes to be served, when I was eventually served it took less than 1 minute to make my coffee. There is a wheelchair door, however it opens outwards and no electric door button so impossible for wheelchair access, NOT GOOD. Also there are tables and chairs outside but no Ashtrays so everyone chucks there cigarettes butts on the floor. On a positive the coffee is of good quality and £3.80 is reasonable.

It does vary somewhat depending on who's working but it's the coffee shop I go to when in Southampton. My only gripe is the toilet is minging. I know you can't use bleach in 2025 Britain but just smuggle it in and give those urine aroma floors and skirting a bit of stink neutralisation!

I really enjoyed my coffee & the person who served me was lovely. However, the male barista ignored my friend, who was next in line. When I politely pointed this out, he responded with a poor attitude. Unfortunately, this experience has put me off returning. There are other coffee shops nearby with friendlier and more professional staff.

Best coffee shop in Southampton, always friendly staff, great place to eat-in or takeaway. Makes my early morning fake-commute more enjoyable if I’m working from home

The queue was out of the door shortly after arriving. The cafe was not clean. Babyccino was in an espresso mug, absolutely tiny. The toilet facilities were filthy. Slow service to get any drinks or food.

To be honest. Not been to many as I find them to expensive. Have had a few offers with 3. So gave it a good. The stuff are lovely and don't look at you as if your a scab because your using an offer. 5 star's.

Very lovely staff, I ordered a hot chocolate which was very good. I also ordered a croissant but it was disappointing. It had been left out for ages to the point it went stale and it just didn't taste nice for what I payed. Overall it was ok but I'd probably visit not that often or in the morning when the pastries are warm and fresh.

Great coffee with lovely atmosphere, I tried most of the city centre cafe but best decoration and calm atmosphere is for Nero. The only problem is most of the time tables are dirty and full of empty cups. Only one of the gentleman working there have a friendly behaviour sadly I don’t know his name.
