We were passing through Romsey and stopped in for a coffee with our toddler. Coffee was very hot, babychino was too small, you would offer more milk to accompany a cup of tea. Member of staff seemed very concerned that our toddlers pencil was going to damage her table, she wasn't rude but it hardly made us feel welcome. If you are more concerned about preserving your tables appearance from the threats of a hb pencil than welcoming your customers with a friendly atmosphere then good luck to you, we certainly can't recommend the experience. Nice carrot cake though.

I tried No 5 for the first time and sadly did not enjoy my experience. I felt unwelcome by the staff comments about asking for a highchair (they don’t have any by the way), by having a pushchair, being rushed to order and then rushed to pay. Drinks were OK but the poor customer service really did leave a sour taste!

Poped in for a quick coffee, and was delighted to see they have Pasteis de Nata, or Portugese Custard tarts. Coffee was very good, and didn't have the bitter after taste of some brands. Nata was also excellent. They also had quite a range of other cakes, to tempt you. Oh and the cups were the same colour.

Fast becoming our favourite coffee shop in Romsey. Coffee is really tasty. Selection of fresh cakes is amazing (the Christmas brownie was beautiful) A really chilled out vibe. It's definitely snug inside but this adds to the atmosphere.

What a lovely little coffee shop. Coffee exactly how I like it…plus fabulous selection of homemade cakes…I had an almond jam slice thing that was mouth-wateringly good. 100% recommended.

Popped in for the first time today. Coffee and cake stop, will definitely visit again. Friendly staff, lovely cake (good sized piece too!) And nice atmosphere.

No 5 is one of Romsey's little gems, it's tiny and popular so don't be disappointed if you can't get in. Open during the day as a cafe and then some evenings as a wine bar, I've only so far gone during the day. I do get a little pit off my the condensation running down the windows in the winter when it's busy, I suppose I'm still a little wary about germs (my issue) obviously not much airflow. My cake was just a little dry but my coffee was great, and let's face it I ate the cake so it wasn't that bad! Staff are super friendly, cafe clean and warm with a view onto Bell Street. Well worth a pop in and I'm definitely going to try the wine bar soon.

Fabulous place to relax with delicious cake and coffee on a dreary Sunday. A bit of jazz in the background set the ambiance just perfectly.

No 5 Bell Street is a wonderful family run independent coffee shop, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Great coffee and delicious cakes and savoury snacks. Would definitely recommend a visit.
