   Really bad experience. Yesterday I ordered 2 latte and 1 cappuccino from Costa, above bar street. From my interest, I told the lady barista to give me a latte with swan art. But she said that How to do that! I don't know. It's just flat. I said, no art? She said, no. I'm astonished facing this experience. How Costa hires baristas who dont know latte art. Ridiculous. I wont visit again obviously.

   Nay made us the most amazing white, vanilla & caramel hot chocolate. Upset it's not on the menu, we'll have to trek back to Southampton to have it again! Her service was fantastic, super bubbly & really made our day.

She was incredibly friendly and really went the extra mile to match our preferences, even offered to make iced latte with caramel and vanilla, and it turned out amazing.    Went in there today after taking granddaughter to an early hospital appointment, ( live on isle of wight so was up at 5 am for 7am ferry so by time we finished at hospital I needed my mint coconut hot chocolate lol) The young lad who served me , Jake, asked if preference or allergy and mine is allergy. He got the allergy book out and went through it all with me and was very thorough and excellent explanation as to why he had to do the book ect. As someone with allergy awareness qualifications I was very impressed and grateful for his attention to detail and allergy awareness. Well done Jake.

   We had great service from Nay today! She was so friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our tastes — even offering to make a delicious white chocolate drink with caramel and vanilla. It was perfect! Really lovely experience, thank you Nay for making our visit extra special.

   USE THE APP - can’t stress enough to use the app. Points mean free things eventually. Nice and spacious here. Plenty of tables to sit at and chill and chat. Toilets here to use also. Quiet on a week day but gets quite busy at the weekends.

   We prefer this coffee shop above the other Costa's, & will drive into town rather than visit the closer Costa coffee shop to us. As it has polite & friendly Baristas, always looks clean & its aparrint they do, as I watch a employee spend time cleaning tables, checking the floor, & tidying up. The toilets are clean too. It's one of the bigger shops, so you can always get a seat, but has kept its cosiness by having little private corners with comfy seating. And of course the coffee is outstanding, in decent sized cups, food delicious & fresh. We had coconut Cappuccino, a Skinny Latte & Prawn & Mayonnaise sandwich. Worth the extra miles, & we did some shopping while here.

   Last few times I went in there, I didn't like it at all. Mostly because of the staff,unfortunately, as I love Costa Coffee. There is this lady at the till, I don't know her name as she didn't have the badge on last time but she is always rude,never even says hello when your turn comes and she looks like she would rather be somewhere else than serving me coffee. I get it, we all have bad days, but this was on numerous occasions... My husband and I won't be going back there, that's for sure.

   I completely love this coffee. Properly served and remarkably delicious. There is always a wide variety of snacks, warm delis, and fabulous cakes, I personally recommend try the cakes and pies. Free, good and fast WIFI, a public toilet is also within the interior area, Recommended to everyone.
