Came here to watch Aston Villa vs. Bournemouth while I had a bite and a pint. It was 2pm on a Sunday and the place was pretty busy with a good noise level where you can still hear people speaking to you. It was also a very friendly atmosphere everywhere you turned and everyone seemed to know everyone else so you know it's a solid go-to spot for the locals. Despite being pretty busy I was able to walk right in and find myself a spot in front of of the large screen near the front door to watch Villa play. The food was also nice. I personally had the hand-carved beef Sunday roast which came with mash, stuffing, roast potatoes, vegetables, and a large Yorkie with a side boat of gravy. The meat was a little bit fatty but other than that everything was delicious. You don't even have to go up to the bar to order anything because on the menus, there is a QR code you can scan that will bring up their app where you can order food and drinks directly from your table to your table. If you're the shy type this will be a great feature for you. The drinks were a bit on the pricey side I found but the food is very reasonably priced. The staff also seemed to be quite nice and laid back as well. There is a large screen in the pool room and two other large screens in the main area of the pub along with three or four smaller screens scattered about all showing the football matches. Definitely a great place to sit and watch while getting a bite. Villa also pumped Bournemouth 4-0 which really tied the experience together!

Excellent pub for sport and socialising with friends and family. Kids always welcome with the bonus of a large garden. Bar staff are always friendly and attentive you will never wait for a drink like you will at other local pubs during busy times

Great food at a great price. A friend and I both had the senior deal at £6.49 for 2 course and an extra £1 for a third. The choices for this deal were limited, e.g., only 2 starters to choose from, but we were happy. A variety of beer on offer. The barmen were friendly and efficient.

Lots of TV screens everywhere, although no one was watching. Friendly enough young people as clientele, many with bad coughs. I had a pitifully bad mash, peas and sausages in a big Yorkshire pudding thing. They did sell a good pint of Peroni though.

We stopped here for an evening meal and a drink. The pub was clean and tidy and the food menu was extensive. We did wait quite some time for our meal which was surprising as the pub was fairly quiet. There is a car park at the front of the building and the staff were curious and helpful. The food was to a reasonable standard for the price we paid.

I came in with a friend for a meal. Staff behind the bar was brilliant, very friendly and polite, I ordered the katsu chicken, when it came out after 45min it was warm, the chicken was hard and over cooked. It looked like it had been left on the side for a while. When I got home I was physically sick. I won't be eating there again, but would pop in for a drink as the atmosphere is nice and friendly.

Two lunch time visits made.Drinks only on first visit. Staff good and helpful. Pub almost empty. Second visit had a few more customers. We were a family group of four, only one other table had ordered food as far as I could tell. We ordered main courses which took close to forty minutes to arrive. Our food was well cooked, hot and tasty. These two visits did not inspire us to have lunchtime meals there again.
