Lovely place to eat and they are very helpful when dealing with intolerance and allergies. Food was very tasty. We stopped off here a couple of years ago and remembered how good it was and it's still great.

Enjoyed our visit to The Otter. Really good food with generous portions and the staff were all welcoming, cheerful and helpful. The atmosphere was an interesting eclectic mix aiming to suit different styles of customer which seemed to work. We sat outside in the garden which was lovely.

This country style village pub has so much character, the pub has such a welcoming feel as you enter the building, the restaurant is a relaxed space with a nice layout. All of the staff are great, so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The level of service from all the staff was fantastic. The quality of the food is amazing, the selection on the menu is great and the specials menu had a great range of meals to choose from. I can highly recommend the Otter Fish Pie, so full of flavour and the Scottish Salmon Fillet, Atlantic Cod in Cream and White Wine Sauce Topped with Mashed Potato & Vegetables is a must try dish. When you are asked if you wish to see the desert menu you have to say YES... You must try the Chocolate Honeycombe Cheesecake. The combination of the flavours of the chocolate, cheesecake and cream are just perfect... This is must visit country pub, the food is excellent and the service is great. Well worth a visit.

Nice place, garden area is pleasant though with astroturf. Food was OK, spare ribs were quite dry especially at the ends. Pie was pretty good but the gravy was disappointing, not made from scratch in the kitchen. Chips and vegetables were all fine.

Great spot for a drink β loved the local beer and sunny terrace We stopped by The Otter Pub around 5pm for a few drinks. Unfortunately, the kitchen wasnβt open yet (starts at 6pm), so we didnβt get to try the food β but we really enjoyed our time there. The locally brewed Otter beer was excellent β fresh, flavourful, and definitely worth trying. The terrace was a real highlight too: sunny, relaxed, and a great spot to unwind with a pint. Looking forward to coming back another time to try the food. Based on the beer and atmosphere alone, itβs already a solid recommendation!

Nice little pub on the outskirts of Chandlers Ford. Great location for some lunch/Dinner. Nice menu and lovely staff! Go there regularly for a nice bit of dinner or just a drink. Also show sporting events here so good for the football or rugby.

Always a good experience here. Welcoming staff and always popular. Excellent beer with a small but good food specials board. The standard menu has plenty of choice too. The garden area has been much improved in recent years. Today's pork in cider and mustard sauce with black pudding, dauphinois potatoes and veg selection was exceptional.

A quaint and cosy traditional pub with beautiful surroundings. Had a covered outdoor area decorated with fairylights and flags while indoors was spaced out seating with low ceiling and an easily accessible bar. The food was delicious with a generous serving on the plate. The burgers were delicious! They also had specials on the menu that they would write up on the chalk board, a lot of unique flavours that I would not expect at a pub. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and come back again when next in Hampshire.

Nice little pub, in a quiet village location. Lots of outside seating and hearty, tasty burgers. Only knocked a star off due to having no facilities for babies or toddlers so don't expect any high chairs or activity sheets, but if you have older kids and want good beer and good food it's worth a visit.
