Always love it here, been so much and never been disappointed. All the staff are always so lovely and helpful!!
Everything served way too hot, green tea and matcha served absolutely scalding hot. Should never been served like this, ruins the taste. Expensive and tea has this plastic-y taste. Sugary and bland tasting cakes, usually very dry. Dog hair everywhere as they allow dogs into the cafe where people eat. Tacky decorations everywhere, obviously have no taste and no idea how to design a comforting rural cafe. Can never park as the parking spaces are usually taken up by the owners range rovers.
A strange ambience here but I’m not apposed to it. Clearly going for an upmarket boutique hotel type styling and while it seems odd for the area I quite like it Coffee was strong and decent. Cakes looked good although I didn’t try any. Staff were not rude but also not overly friendly. I’d definitely go back
I had no idea this place existed, but it's a real winner. Beautiful decor, great tasting coffee, and a price that was very reasonable. All in all a really lovely experience. I just hope it thrives and can find it's place in the market. There are a lot of newly built houses nearby so cross fingers!
Slow staff. Ignored half our order and were generally unpleasant staff. Lovely setting, but I’d rather go to Gregg’s across the road than give poor customer service my money. They also offered no food menus and ignored that we asked for cakes with our coffee. Felt like they didn’t want us there.
Love Preston’s. ( and their lovely staff) They have the best coffee I’ve tasted in a long while and a choice of wonderful yummy vegan cakes. After two visits it’s one of my ‘must go to places’ when I’m in Ashbourne. Thanks Preston’s. See you soon. x
Great coffee and beautiful atmosphere! The team are great and friendly, felt very at home. The decor and vibe was gorgeous! Can’t wait to go back!
I have been here loads and absolutely LOVE it! Perhaps some of the other comments were to do with isolated incidents as we have had nothing but positive experiences. The food is gorgeous and my husband loves the coffee (I don't drink coffee). The service has always been very friendly and speedy for us and we love the fact that we have also picked up some interiors pieces while sitting and chilling as a lot of the items on display for decoration are also for sale!
