Popped in for a hot chocolate and the girl was so ignorant. Waited for hot chocolate and when it was done she said ,,, here, so ignorant attitude, not good to be working in customer services atmosphere with attitude like that. Looked like she didn't want to be there and was constantly chatting to a young girl who didn't work there. A man came in to order and she didn't even acknowledge him at first. Totally rude. Date is 4 th November around 3,30pm. All id say, to the big boss is find someone who appreciates the job. She clearly doesn't like her job.

Floors and window areas filthy with mould and full of cobwebs and dirt.Witnessed a toasted sandwich being cut before being served by a member of the team with no gloves on which should be fairly standard in food prep and actually put me off ordering any food. The staff seemed young and pleasant enough, but seemed to lack any direction or real experience as there were dirty tables and the shop wasn't particularly busy With tough competition in Ashbourne, I would have expected this visit to be of the same quality as other stores, but unfortunately it was lacking in all areas and it has put me off going back to Costa.Drinks were OK - nothing special and the pecan latte had hardly any flavour.

Love this costa store as it's hidden away in one of the quiet areas of the town and the big seats in the window are a wonderful place to sit and relax and watch the world go by. My fave order is always large decaf latte with whole milk. Also love the specials like the ruby red i had at this store. Staff are friendly and helpful. Can often be a long wait, but worth it!

Absolutely nothing wrong with either the coffee or the service. The store itself is sad looking and needs completely refitting. Must be depressing to work there as it really needs an upgrade. Keep smiling baristas; you are the shining stars in a dilapidated store.

Coffee and Cake is good and the service is friendly but the decor is looking a bit dated. Lacking a bit of atmosphere. On the plus side, it's the only coffee shop open (until 6pm) after about 4pm in Ashbourne!

Hello, today their was a lady in your store with a service dog. I really felt for this lady as there was a terrible woman who clearly was very uneducated about what service dog does. The manager acted professional and approached the lady to resolve the matter and she was even shouting at him as she complained about the service dog. Well done to the staff for realising what a service dog is all about! So sorry to this lady with her service dog! Bless her, must have been so upsetting for her

Had a skinny latte as a takeaway, staff were really nice and checked if I had a Costa card to scan. Lots of food choices and they were well stocked. Lots of seating inside, would definitely visit again and might sit inside next time.

So pleased we popped in for a drink. The staff was so kind and chatty, the shop was so clean and tidy. Tables were spotless. Drinks were fantastic as usual and even gave me a little extra milk for my son. Price is usual costa price, but I think worth it. Will definitely be back soon . Thanks Steve Katie and Harry
