Enjoyed a carvery meal at the Walnut Tree Farm today. Food was well cooked and very tasty, with generous portions. Yet to tuck into a slice of Marz Attack cake but expect we won't be disappointed. Will come back for sure, and would recommend.

It was an absolute treat from start to finish. The carvery selection was generous, perfectly cooked, and served hot — just the kind of hearty meal you hope for at a proper carvery. But the real surprise came at the end, the dessert cabinet features enormous slices of cake that looked (and tasted) great. Each slice is big enough to fill your stomach , The combination of great value, friendly service, and indulgent portions makes this carvery a must-visit for anyone who loves traditional comfort food with a sweet finish.
Beautiful place to eat breakfast. The buffet style breakfast is great, hot and fresh tasting. Sue is a fantastic member of staff, her positive attitude and helpfulness is a real valuable asset to the team. Really nice vibes, it was quiet and a nice place to come as a couple, family or even on your own the food was so good :)
Lovely place and great to see it busy. Saturday lunchtime carvery looked amazing. We popped in for a snack as it was close to the port we were sailing from. Clean establishment and decent WC! You can order on the app or at the bar. Dessert cakes the size of a small dog! Spacious car park and charging points for Elon Musk cars and/or milk floats. Service excellent.
I give it a 4⭐️ as I haven't had a roast dinner here and only enjoyed the buffet breakfast. This is in my top 5 places for a breakfast
Busy place on a Sunday would recommend booking ahead. Lovey carvery good range of vegetables. You have a choice of three sizes. The medium is ample after all you can go back for more veg, who does that? Lovely staff bit of a wait to get served but it's a carvery on a Sunday it should be expected. Will be returning

Food good enough to make me wana go back . Prices are good too. Staff nice and polite. Only 3 stars because i left the restaurant with a very upset kid who saw the ice-cream when we paid for the food and before leaving when we asked for ice-cream we discovered that the whole fridge was full of fake ice-cream. They had 3 tipes of ice-cream but of course not the fancy ones from the ice-cream fridge. Same with the displayed cakes..all fake ... We ordered take away cake , was ok but different than the fake ones displayed so yes that was a disappointment.. we went there to have a nice family meal so leaving with an upset and disappointed kid left me with a bitter taste
