   Not possible to give zero stars as no service provided I booked a bike health check with Halfords Winchester. And when I brought it in, the guy didn’t do the check and said the person who does bikes is not in that day and to come another day. I asked to book and he said you don’t need a booking. So I returned home with my bike. Then I returned on a day when the store opened at 8am when they said the cycle guy would be in, to be told I have to wait till the afternoon. The website says bike health checks are done within 30mins while we wait. so I returned home again with the bike I returned today 30mins ago to the Halfords store with the bike and was turned away and told they have too much to do today and can’t do anything But website states there are still plenty of slots in the afternoon today for health checks. Three times I brought my bike in store while 7 months pregnant to not be provided with the service as stated even when booked. They were dismissive, appeared to have no care in providing the service. While the bike has a rusty chain that either needs changing or oiling- and I can’t book for that because I was repeatedly told to bring it in without booking to check the bike and find its needs first.

   The staff were amazing, there was only 2 people in the shop and although they were busy but they were happy to still fit the trims in my car. Brilliant customer service, polite and helpful! Never had a problem with this shop.

   Ordered floor mats for my car. Paid a deposit and told would be in within a week. Called back 8 days later, not in, Called back after weeks to be told could be 3 or 4 weeks. So asked for my deposit back. Had given them cash so wanted cash back. This was so difficult nearly bloow a gasket. Outcome is should have gone online to get them in days. Only one person could do the transaction so the others stood around like spare parts. Simple job but not at all impressed.

   Went in this evening in a panic as my number plate had been stolen and I needed to drive back to Portsmouth. Ben, Spencer and Nathan were super helpful and really friendly and got me sorted with a new plate and fitted it for me within 10 minutes! Thanks guys!

   Battery seemed iffy, so remembered that Halfords do a battery check, turned out battery was dead and they showed me the result, I had thought that's what the problem was, got them to fit a replacement there and then. Chaps that did it where very knowledgeable about my car as one of them had the same model. Left with a fine working vehicle, thanks.
