Another fantastic visit to Kilau. Great food and love their outdoor seating area.
We really liked the atmosphere of the cafe, it feels quite minimalistic but comforting especially with the food they served. The food was lovely but we felt like the halloumi were on a salty side, more than usual, slightly over salted possibly at least for our taste. The plate that the salmon tagliatelle was on was chipped in three places as seen on the picture and also had some red sauce on the outside of it, that’s why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 as this could be improved on. The salmon tagliatelle had a lot of onion as well or taste of onion, the salmon was lovely though. The chicken penne was lovely as well. We ordered Fentimans Cherry Cola which we both loved and also Pomelo San Pelegrino. Both drinks were very nice, at the end we got to Fentimans to go as we really liked them.
Still a great cup of coffee, for my money the best in Aberdeen. Good food and a cracking cake selection. Well worth a visit.

The coffee is great and the muffin! One of the greatest coffee in aberdeen I must say and very good service. Unfortunately not a place for student to have coffee and study or work even located in Aberdeen University.
Had an amazing savory crepe, wonderful halloumi fries, and a perfect flat white. Superb lunch. Outdoor seating in back!
Such a beautiful place, I didnt realise at first that there was a cafe upstairs, but seriously it's such a shout! Hot chocolate...bomb Focaccina...bomb (I had the Bacon and Brie and substituted the tomato for red onion, such a great choice!!) The food and drinks are amazing, filling and for a great price. Also they give you this fruit infused water for after your drink to help get rid of the after taste of coffee etc.
