Came here with my mum for lunch. Would HIGHLY recommend. The food was out of this world & great value for money. Staff all friendly & welcoming will 100% be returning
This is the second time this year we've eaten here, hungry after a long walk in the New Forest. My first experience was an excellent fish and chips. Most recently I went for the chicken and ham pie, with chips and veg. I can honestly say this was best pub meal I've had this year. You could tell the pie was home made, the veg was well cooked, and even the chips were amazing! The service was exceptional and we didn't have to wait long for the food. We'll definitely be back !
The staff were all pleasant & friendly, we enjoyed having our lunch in the garden on a lovely sunny day. Food & drink were good, seemed reasonable price wise compared with other New Forest pubs. Recommended.
What a find! Literally a 5 minute stroll from where we are staying, friendly staff and incredible food / drinks. Excellent value for money. Ham egg and chips plus fish and chips to die for !!!!! Need I say more. Thank you guys - you’re the best!
Great pub and the food was great. Proper pie which was delicious. Asparagus and pea linguine was equally tasty. Well priced to. The roast garlic potatoes and bacon mad a lovely small plate.
We were famished after walking around bolderwood and every where central in new forest was booked for Sunday lunch......went further afield and was not disappointed Enjoyed last of the summer sun sitting outside At 2pm ish, The beef had sold out so went for the pork and wasn't disappointed. superbly cooked Dog friendly Appears they have gas heating outside for cooler nights If I was going to moan , we had to wait 50 minutes for the meal, but I think everyone had the same idea as us,,, last of summer sun...pint...roast dinner
A very popular destination by the number of people eating in the beer garden. A lovely little pub with amazing food and very friendly table staff. The food was so good we went back again the next evening. Highly recommended.
Great atmosphere, food was okay and the staff nice. I will definitely be back, for a drink at least when passing by.
Lovely local pub with everything a local needs. They even had the foresight to get a backup generator so were the only pub in town open when the power went out in the town recently! Very dog friendly — a great place to meet Al the local dogs of the town. Pool table and darts board for anyone who wants a game. Haven’t tried the food but lots of pub grub that should cater to most family tastes. A log burner in the corner makes this pub warm with atmosphere too!
