I recently visited Auto Electrical Supplies expecting to buy a new car battery. Whilst I was explaining to the assistant what had happened to make me think I needed a new battery, his colleague, over-hearing the conversation, appeared with a battery tester and proceeded to test my car battery. He then informed me that my battery was good but just needed a good charge. He then explained the way a battery fitted to a car with 'stop/start' operates and that an external charge occasionally was a good idea. The result was I did not need to buy a new battery. I did get advice and a quote for what battery I need to buy when I eventually need to, which was far less then the main dealer quoted. I feel a bit guilty, I was not charged for testing my battery and I was given good advice. All I can say is that when I do need a new battery or anything else 'auto electrical' , A.E. Supplies will be my first point of call. I'm sorry cannot remember your names but thank you both.
Had charging issues. They tested the battery for me and advised the course of action to take. Great service.
Lovely lovely people. I had a possible dead battery that needed replacing. They tested it and all was fine.....probably me leaving something on. Just in case he has lent me a portable jump kit in case it happens again. I've used them a number of times over the years and I'm always so impressed with the genuine care they have for people. Thank you guys.
Very helpful and very cheap parts.. anything electrical it's worth heading here than other car part places, even with their online discount codes. I YouTube how to change if unsure and its a small fraction of the price. Will use again for sure
