   I went there in the beginning of December 2025 and the shop assistant was so rude. I went as a tourist and, at first, I did not understand what she told me so she insisted on saying " You don't speak English, do you?!!!". She was furious because we, the customers, didn't want the self service and there was a long queue... I had never seen such a rude shop assistant in Scotland! Everyone is so friendly and helpful but that woman was awful...

3. Wilderness Solo ★☆☆☆☆

   Male supervisor with brown hair with pony tail committed homohobic hate crime against me when I was at the check out. Reported to Poundland immediately and with CCTV request. "Sarah" said area manager would investigate and give response. After I submitted the form she immediately told me they couldn't give CCTV because my face was not visible when law states all that's necessary is identification by clothing and said matter was closed without any mention of area manager inquiry. I don't recommend this shop.

   Service has considerably improved. However, the management needs to support the vulnerable using self-service. Although lots of goods prices have gone up as against it used to be before. In comparison, other brands are doing well. Management needs to do a Swot analysis to know exactly how other competitors are doing.

   Very affordable if that's what you're looking for. The store is clean and well-maintained. The items in here are very cheap, although there isn't an impressive variety of items. Last time I was here, the cashier on duty seemed a little mean and impatient. She ruined my experience, but the cashier who attended to me today was a thousand times better, so I'm happy about that improvement.
