   Opening times as shown here must be misleading. We travelled to Ashbourne specifically to visit the cafe and bring a clock for repair. Paid £1.50 to park but found both shop and clock repairer closed (Saturday mid afternoon) despite this post saying both were open until 5.30pm.

   Difficult to rate this cafe because when we arrived today (28/8/18) it was in darkness and obviously closed in spite of the advertised opening times on its website. We had made a special trip of about an hour having seen it on social media and wasted the petrol and car parking fee. If you can't open for some reason, put something on your Facebook page or at least a note on the door apologising.

   My daughter and I popped into this cute little cafe. The food was very delicious with tasty fillings., Perfectly made fresh beautiful tasting latte and mocha coffee. Would highly recommend this place.

   I would like to give ambience 10 stars as the feeling of peace and ease you get at Chimes is second to non. I found the food fresh, home cooked and delicious and staff were very willing to go out of their way to cater for my fussy children. Staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble - i would definitely recommend you go and enjoy what will be an amazing meal with the added bonus of antiques to look at - fabulous

   My niece and I were made to feel very welcome by the warm friendly staff. We sat outside and made the most of the warm sunny patio. The bacon bap as delicious - proper butchers bacon - try it!
