Beware if you're new to the area and looking for a new local. Poor business practice in gaining any new customers due to rude and hostile approach by staff. After not buying enough drinks within 5 minutes of finding a table, we were told to order more drinks between us quickly or leave.
Called in Wednesday evening for a drink and ended playing bingo and joining the live auction once again. An enjoyable evening. The bar service provided by Amber and Sam was excellent, they are both a credit to the owner who was on holiday. I will definitely call in again it was a nice atmosphere and the customers were friendly. But the staff made the evening for me.
Our 1st visit went to watch the womens England match with my daughters football team. The initial welcoming was cold from the landlord to my husband. Seeing the girls arrive, he demanded if they were buying drinks, but when I arrived, I felt it was a welcoming and friendly pub and would look to go again. It has a traditional feel while being modern and fresh in its decor. They did coffee too, which is great, it's pods so quite weak and sweet, not to everyone's taste.

Visiting my cousin went on a little local pub crawl ended up in the Needles, lovely 'local' friendly staff and a great pint of Marston's Pedigree.
Great community pub, good for children with bands and a safe feeling. Would def recommend .
It would of been really helpful if u updated the times you were actually open and when exactly u were doing food... As travelled down and all door locked..
