Excellent little pub situated on the main road through Stanley Common. Decent selection of beers. Pool table,darts,t.v. Showing all the sports events. Seating area to the front and rear . Friendly,helpful staff. Garry,the landlord,is known to be one of the most joyful, happy go lucky people in the neighborhood.
Not welcoming at all. Had one drink and left, such a shame. Would rather spend my money elsewhere.
Twelve years since I was last in with my brother and his wife, liked it then, like it now, just something about the place, highly recommend it.
Don't dislike it, says it's a free house there was only 2 ales on! Nice and clean, landlord friendly. Disappointed with the ales. Personally wont go there again. But nothing wrong with the pub, not 4 me.
Lovely clean village pub. Bar staff very helpful and friendly. Free salsa lessons on Saturday afternoons.
