Brilliant night at the Murder Mystery event. Lauren worked her backside off to produce and amazing evening. Very impressed with all the staff (especially Lexi as the jazz singer!) who came in costume and character, performing in front of everyone. Great food and drink too

Popped in yesterday lunch for a quick bite. Got chatting to the manager, Lauren - really passionate about her job and her customers. I felt very welcome and comfortable. Food was nice too. Chips were hot and fresh. And a decent pint of Wainwrights.. Look forward to going back

Went for a family meal for 5 adults. The service was excellent, quick and very friendly. The food was cooked to to perfection by the chef Camren, very good portions, cooked to all our likings in a wonderful atmosphere, all I would ask for is a bigger plate for the mixed grill.

Fantastic food at a really good price. Portion size was perfectly acceptable as the quality of the food was brilliant. Had a desert as well which was also really nice. The toilets were clean and smelt very fragrant. Definitely will be returning. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is as much as I enjoyed the music is was a bit too loud to have a conversation and enjoy the meal.

A recently refurbished flagship pub of the Ember Inns chain. As you would expect the food is good and reasonably priced. Good range of ales and drinks. This place is very large and able to accommodate a good many people.

The seating is well spaced out and the staff cleaned the tables between customers. The service was excellent even though the staff were busy. The food exceeded our expectations, in freshness, taste and quality. My husband and I would definitely recommend the sandwiches, tuna and cucumber and the ham, cheese and pickle. The floater coffee was lovely and apparently the lager was the best my husband had tasted in a long time! We hope to go again soon to try the hot food and dessert menu.
