Joanne Barber was one of the best hygienists I have seen. She was positive, rather than pessimistic about my teeth! I am aware of some issues, but she emphasised the good things while pointing out what more needs to be done. Thank you Joanne
The staff are very friendly and made me feel comfortable at all times, my only issue was with the policies of the company. As a client I think everyone should know about what I'm going to say before choosing Highfield Dental & Facial Clinic. So, I've booked an appointment to get my teeth cleaned on the 2nd December. Prior to the appointment I've paid £70,00 and on the day of the appointment, after the procedure, I've paid the remaining £70,00. With a total cost of £140,00 The dentist told me she couldn't finish the cleaning in one appointment so I would have to book another one and pay the entire price of £140,00 again. When I've booked this appointment I was informed that after the first one the price would be reduced to £106,00. When I asked the dentist why I should pay an entire price to finishe the cleaning she said that she would need 40minutes more to finish it, and the price of £106 it's only for 30minutes... I think before booking this appointment they could have assessed better how many sessions I would need. I definitely wouldn't choose to get it done there. Now I have the bottom of my teeth cleaned and will have to book with another company to get the superior teeth done. One cheaper and more precise when accessing my dental care.
I came for Invisalign treatment to straighten my teeth, as well as whitening and stain removal, as a very nervous patient. The results achieved have been beyond incredible, my smile has been completely transformed. Just finished my hygienist appointment and I wanted to take the time to compliment all the staff. Eweline on reception was friendly, chatty and made everyone who entered feel welcome. Anna the dental nurse was as ever a kind, compassionate, perfectionist. She does everything to make you feel relaxed and always goes above and beyond. She has made a huge difference to the quality of my dental experience and that of my teeth and gum health. A big thank you to all.
Really poor! Very fancy set up, i wasn’t happy with a few bits done. Also the way one of the dentist spoke to his assistant was just rude and made me feel uncomfortable! I then asked to change dentist within the practice only to be told that I would have to go through a whole new assessment at my cost. How is this right? They have already assessed me. Had high hopes but left feeling scammed. Last appointment was months ago and I haven’t had one call to follow up, assuming they know by my request to change dentist that I’m not happy. £££s down the pan and my teeth I would say are in a worse state than before! On the plus side the hygienist is fantastic
After having a fear of dentists for over 30 years, these guys have made the whole experience so much better. If only I had found them years ago my teeth would not have suffered so much. Very relaxed and put you at ease. Had x2 teeth pulled and didn’t even know they had done it ! Not the cheapest, but definitely get what you pay for. Thanks guys!
Really impressed. After putting off attending a dentist for some time I was immediately put at ease. Both dentist and hygienist have been very professional and informative. Highly recommend.
In every way a positive review for me based on my 1/ root canal. The tooth was saved expert diagnosis, treatment and follow up. 2/ check up, It was thorough and reassuring to me that my dental needs were in good hands. 3/ hygienist I am pleased that they are sensitive to my needs and treat me in a way that I am comfortable with. I am nervous and my teeth are sensitive but I am happy to go to this practice and would recommend to anyone.
Booked an appointment at Highfield Dental Clinic as wife said they are good, she wasn't wrong, had my first two appointments and this was to see what treatment Ineeded and they worked out a plan showing what I needed and all the cost, great discussions and listened to what I wanted done first as well. Great service and brilliant people I felt very welcome and reassured
I had a teeth clean here and the service was very good. However the admin person who answers the phone is rude, abrupt and impatient. I find the policy of paying up front for your first appointment rather than a deposit strange too and I expressed a desire not to be xrayed for my initial check up as I have had this done recently and have no issues and view this practice as a way of extracting more cash from new patients by forcing them to pay for unnecessary imaging. The attitude of the person I discussed these concerns with was rude and confrontational. This poor communication happened on two separate occasions months apart. For this reason I have decided to move dentists where the receptionists are more professional and helpful.
