I rang to book my car in for an MOT here, when everywhere else was fully booked. They didn't take any details from me when I booked, which I thought was odd, but when I arrived they knew I was the "11.45". They are now called Tyre King. I dropped it off and an hour later it was done and passed. Staff were friendly enough and had no problems.
Avoid this garage like the Plague - DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! I paid over £300 for servicing parts that I supplied for my vehicle, the garage said & agreed to do the servicing work/Mot/Oil Change in which I paid them for £200+! A short while later I sold the vehicle locally, the new owner took it in for a check over, low & behold the old filters were still on the truck, no oil change, garage not admitting to it even after a rac garage report verified it, I don’t where the servicing parts went!! new owner not happy and supplied me with evidence. So now I am out of pocket at double the cost! I did ring the garage on multiple occasions but they kept on avoiding me. This garage is not to be trusted with vehicle work/Mots. Very poor service, full of lies, trying to make a quick buck. Should this review be questioned I have all the relevant information/evidence to hand. Garage reported to Trading Standards. In response to the garage below I have attached proof that the vehicle was “serviced” here along with a stamp & invoice. Again I must stress to all local Burton residents AVOID THEM, THEY ROB HONEST HARD WORKING PEOPLE! I AM NOW OUT OF POCKET, DID RING THEM AS I DIDNT WANT TO TAKE THIS ROUTE BUT THEY AVOIDED ME DELIBERATELY.
I have my MOTs done here and other jobs. Great service. Freindly no complaints from me. Will be using them every time i meed to.
Booked my vehicle in for an MOT using their online booking service, and received an email which stated the time it was due in was 9am. I arrived at 9.03am due to traffic and was greeted by an extremely rude older man, who told me “You should have been here at 8.45, you’re late, you can leave your car here but I can’t guarantee it’ll be looked at”. I told the man I’d take the car somewhere else if he couldn’t guarantee it would be done as I needed my car for work later on - this was when the man became extremely rude and argumentative with me, and when I asked him to please stop talking to me like that continued, following me out the door to my vehicle and continuing to give me attitude. I then checked my confirmation email and there is no mention on this for arriving 15 minutes earlier than stated. I then took my car straight to Albion test centre and explained the situation, to which they told me this is a regular occurrence and they often have to take customers from this business after they have received similar service. They kindly fitted my vehicle in with no issue and returned this to me by 12.30pm. Even if I had been horrendously late - which I had not - the level of attitude this man gave me was disgusting, and not to be expected from a so called professional business. Highly recommend this business be avoided, unless you fancy a bit of abuse early in the morning!
Booked for an MOT and the process itself was easy, however the car "failed" it's test and the guy on reception was curt and unhelpful when my son tried to explain that the light on the dashboard had been on for years and had never resulted in a failure before. We weren't even assured that all other aspects of the test had been completed satisfactorily. Called the Albion Test Centre and went there directly, paid for another test (more expensive) and the car passed without issue! Lesson learned!
Booked online for an MOT, dropped off and collected within 2 hours. Staff were polite and courteous in all my dealings with them. No hidden charges or recommends for unnecessary works. Would happily recommend and use again.
Knowledgeable and friendly staff, toom my car here for a service and MOT, complete to a high standard and well priced for the job. Simple booking process on their website made picking the time and day easy and convenient. I would highly recommend and will be using them again if required.
