   I cannot recommend Brian Ilaria and Powerhouse Garage highly enough! From my first interaction, it was clear that Brian is incredibly conscientious.    Bit of a long one but I just want to say once more a BIG thank you to Brian and the rest of the team at Powerhouse. I was at a loss with my car having worked on it ourselves for the past 2 years we made progress but it just never ran right. I stumbled across these guys looking for local garages to nottingham that work on old Japanese classics and I had to try them, it was well worth paying the recovery to get it delivered to these guys in derby. I told them no time limit and had a nice chat with Brian about the car and symptoms he really knew his stuff and they still managed to diagnose, fix and have my car ready well within 3 weeks which surpassed my expectations. They made me the happiest young man in the world I’ve wanted nothing but to get this back on the road and they’ve smashed it, I’m yet to return to give the team some biscuits so when you guys are read this just know I’ll be coming back! Thanks again.

   I’ve been taking my cars to Powerhouse for the past 6 years . I saw the poster re leaving a review and after reading what other people have to say about this garage I felt the need to add mine . They truly deserve every positive review they are given . As a female with minimal car knowledge I feel happy to leave my car here knowing that I will be given an honest diagnosis and solution. Any issues I’ve had over the years have been sorted with no further issues. I’d recommend this garage without hesitation.

   Took my Car in for a MOT, Hubby is a mechanic but we don't live in the area so I was apprehensive, not knowing if I was going to be ripped off. Totally the opposite, the lady on reception was really jolly and friendly and the owner came out and had a chat with me. Passed with a few advisories which I was expecting and no pressure to have the work done there. I would really recommend to anyone, totally professional and so friendly. Grazie Mille!

   I’ve been using Brian and his gang at Powerhouse for years for both standard maintenance and MOTs and also much more involved mechanics: firstly with a Toyota Mk2 MR2 for 12 years, Audi A3, and 2 Mazda MX5s (Mk2 and Mk3). I’ve always received a friendly and efficient service, advice and repairs I can trust and with them frequently going the extra mile on repairs just because it’s the right thing to do. And all a price that seems too good to be true. I’ve moved away from Derby some 6 years ago, but despite passing a great many independent garages and mechanics on my way to Powerhouse, I simply won’t take my cars anywhere else. Thanks Brian for everything you do - I’m so grateful of having someone I can trust to get the job done right!
