   Went to get a tool met by a rapid fire bloke who without any introduction it’s over to some dammed screen and Bish bosh bash this is what u do to find stuff , no proper explanation , man walks off screen goes off like a mind of its own , can’t find anything , brings up highest price items , no advice on what’s appropriate……might be fine for a video gamer but no earthly use to me , just like they couldn’t care that you got the right thing , walked off and left me to my own devices without even a welcome or a thank you so I’m afraid I just walked out and won’t be back Basically go to Kings Sandhurst for some proper service from a good local business not that shed without service Screw Fix which uses to be handy but now just too much hassle to try to find what you need , as can’t ask a person at the counter it’s go ask the machine …..well no actually

   Appalling customer service, owed me a refund and after 3 phone calls I eventually had to come into the store. The manager talked over me and was extremely unhelpful and rude.

   I recently purchased large ladder online and thought I'd try in store this time so I popped in to buy a network router. there were none in stock but one was available in the central warehouse on a next day delivery, so I ordered it and paid. I was asked for my mobile number which I gave and I was told that I would receive a text to say it was in. The next day I didn't receive a text which was fine, but the day after, after no text, I decided to return. I was asked my name and told they couldn't find my order in the system. Unfortunately I didn't bring the receipt, so I asked to search by my mobile. I was told quite abruptly that a name is always requested and they cannot search by my mobile. I was also told that I would have received a text to confirm my order, which I didn't. There were no routers in stock still. Although I was definitely not asked for my name, I said that I would return another day with the receipt. Then, later that day I received a call from Screwfix to say they were processing a refund and needed my name and details for this. I said that I didn't request a refund and I explained my experience. They said that my order was in their system with no name! Only when I asked, I was advised that there are none in the central warehouse. So basically I wasted a few days and now have to start again and order one online. Not a great experience so back to Amazon this time. I guess I'll stick with Amazon...

   Well managed store, super helpful and friendly staff. If they aren't sure they'll ask another team member just to make sure they are giving good customer service. They've done amazingly throughout the pandemic. Glad to see tea and coffee back in Trade counter. Always happy to help me with heavy items.
