   QTD provided ThermoWood Ash cladding for our extension and rennovation. They were great to work with, and the wood provided was top quality. They were also able to provide us with some bespoke pieces to provide some nice finishing touches, and they replaced them after our chippy accidentally cut them up and used them elsewhere. The only slightly negative was uncertainty about delivery timeframes after order, which caused our site manager some headaches - it all came good in the end though.

   Although a large company it is still a family business at its core and I'm happy to say it still treats it's customers as such. Although my requirements as a DIY'er were very modest I could not have been treated any better. There were delays in getting the raw material I ordered (not their fault) but, having ascertained what was going to be available in the shortest amount of time I was offered an upgrade in product (to Thermowood Ash) so that they could complete my order and not keep me waiting. The quality of the machined boards I received was excellent and my project is now complete. I would recommend this company to anyone whether your project is large or small, they are really nice people to deal with.

   Having previously used wood to deck areas, and found the short life span, relatively high maintenance and the potential to be hazardous in the winter, we decided to used Limed Oak millboard from QTD. Absolutely perfect! much better finish than we could achieve using wood and with excellent service in support, worth every Penny.

   We opted for the ThermoWood Ayous hardwood cladding without treatment so looking forward to see how it ages. The product appears great and was easy to work with (surprisingly lightweight) but more importantly it was nice to have the option to use a local, independent company and their sales service was excellent.
