Very good shop with a great range of products. Friendly staff. Competitively priced. It has that great hardware shop smell. Very homely feel as well.
Sadly 24 hrs ago I would have given this business 5 stars, always my first port of call for everything. However it all went wrong yesterday, went in for a few bits mid afternoon and needed something else, Looking at the time I decided to go back as I would be there before 5 pm (it says 5 on the door & 4.30 on the web site. I was in the shop at 4.50 and it felt like a real panic was in full swing, with one member of staff saying to a customer it was " too complicated," and to come back tomorrow ! Then it was announced to myself and another customer "you will need to be quick and cash only" I needed to pay by card so will have to go and buy it today, but sadly not from V&I. The staff certainly got what they wanted as the shutter was pulled down at exactly 5pm, but at what cost ? On the website it refers to, loyal customers, That's what I was but loyally works both ways.
Excellent selection of goods, far more than I would have expected in a small shop. Very helpful friendly staff. Will visit often.
LOVELY place. Rescued some plants from clearance and man behind the till was very understanding of my crazy plant mom vibes. Would come back for more osteospermums.
Lovely family run business. Hundreds of products at reasonable prices, and if they don't have what you need in stock they will be very happy to order it in for you. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.
This little shop is amazing. A good old style shop that sells almost everything... I say "almost" not because they've ever failed to have what I want.... But because surely there must be SOMETHING they don't stock!!!! They know where everything is too.... Don't hunt too long... Ask and they'll gladly help Recommended
