   Normally excellent but not good yesterday. I ordered some Xmas lights online for collection and received the message to pick up .I went to Maidenhead store to pick up and I was told that the lights weren't there .I pointed out that I had a message to say that they are in but she was adamant that they weren't. A totally wasted journey _ time petrol etc- not impressed . This has never happened before and I buy quite alot from Screwfix - and the system normally works well. I have a suspicion that the lights were there but the breakdown was with the assistant .

   I don’t usually write reviews but after reading the last 1 star review I felt I should add my own, I am a regular in screwfix in Maidenhead, Upto 10 times a week, I’ve had a trade account for over 10 years and I must say I find the level of service in this branch exceptional, All staff are kind and helpful, Particularly Nimra in the trade section, polite, courteous and extremely knowledgeable, I spend hundreds a week in this store and I send customers here for showers etc, She is a big reason for me to continue using this branch, Thankyou for the excellent service, Keep it up!

   Huge thank you to the Manager (Alec I think his name is) in helping me return 3 radiators today (19th July). Had a cowboy plumber who ordered the wrong radiators and disappeared and was stuck with 3 incorrect radiators. He helped in getting these returned with ease and was sympathetic to my situation. Also helped me carry new radiators to the car. Great customer service, an asset to the company.

   I was served from a gentleman called Justin the duty manager. He bent over backwards to help me find the correct chainsaw blade for my chainsaw. Very polite and had a very good attitude towards his customers..I would highly recommend them...

   90% of the time you'll have to queue at this store, sometimes the queue is going out the door. Staff are helpful, management need to put more hands at front of shop serving customers at peak times. Parking is also very limited.

   Nothing wrong with Screwfix in terms of staff, who are friendly, product range or price. However, the experience of queuing to collect an order is not pleasant and the online/collection approach seems at odds with the look and ambience of the premises. Parking is often a problem as well.
